Small dose of levothyroxine - good or bad?
That doesn't quite get my
TSH
below 2 anymore (it used to), but it's very close. If I increase the dose to 50mcg the effect is not great - it's hard to describe, but I feel fizzy (yes, fizzy, not fuzzy) with a feeling of too much coffee on top.

Cost of a full thyroid panel v TSH alone
We often hear of patients being refused a full thyroid panel due to cost. Can anyone tell me the cost differential to the NHS as I suspect it may be minimal.

Endo blood test codes
Hi after my recent post about rising
TSH
I asked my nhs endo to do the reccommend thyroid blood tests. I have received the blood test form today but am not sure what some of the codes mean. I know he said he couldn’t do all of them so I wanted to work out which to pay for privately.

NHS Endocrinologist Referral. Help please I am scared!
However as I haven't seen anyone for such a long time, I can understand why the new GP wants current support for my regime (he is terrified of the suppressed
TSH
but it's been much more suppressed in the past). Has anyone been taken off Armour after 20 years of success with it and survived ok?

Iron and t4/t3 update
My latest test results showed a pretty non existent
TSH
, a very low t4 and t3 just over the range. My consultant is happy to keep me on my current medication as I feel so good as long as I don't have heart palpitations (which I don't) inw which case he said to reduce the t3 to 50mcg a day.
