Yearly endo nonsense
I doubt my
TSH
is going to move much, it was tiny the last time they reduced the levo to 125mcg but the T4 tropped dramatically. So not sure what that will tell them. Let the fun and games begin.

Help with Results please
Also GP's
TSH
test done around similar time with similar
TSH
So with my recent results my
TSH
is low but not suppressed. Surprising that just one extra 25mg tablet a week dropped the
tsh
by nearly 1.

New blood results
TSH
1.11 (0.35 - 4.94) FT4 11.8 (9-19) No FT3 done TRAb very elevated, no number given. Graves confirmed again 57 years after surgery for it. Endo said that there's nothing can be done to reduce the antibodies and since my bloods are in range come back in 6 months. Meanwhile, I feel unwell.

when does your low TSH stop following you around the NHS?
This morning had a long ‘ difference of opinion’ with a consultant of ‘Geriatric falls and syncope’ about my raised HR ( c.95-115) following various BP/HR problems with 3+ years of Long Covid…she had decided it was likely related to my low
TSH
suggesting I was over medicated for hypothyroidism.

After 16 days into a 1/8gr NDT increase im starting to feel worse (did feel better for it) is this T4 kicking in or its converted T3 ?
Would this be the additional T4 thats effecting me or the additional T3 thats coverted from the additional T4 I ask this as i did not feel jittery for 14 days of upping the dose, its only 16 days in Last results Feb 2024 on 1 1/4 gr were
TSH
0.09 (0.27-4.2) FT3 4.6 (3.1-6.8) FT4 15.3 (12-22)

An Enlightening Endocrine Adventure
After appeasing an endocrinologist worried about my suppressed
TSH
by a cunning lab trick -- withholding NDT for three days before going for the blood work -- I realized I needed to titrate up the dose. Many thanks to those who replied with their NDT experience.

Follow up bloods from 3 weeks back
As you can see I now have my bloods back and looks like I need to increase my Thyroxine as both
TSH
and T4 are and issue? My test was in the morning and I had not had any medication for around 30 hours. The Cortisol is also elevated. Any pointers would be good. Thanks Alex

18 weeks pregnant on NDT with low T4
Endo put me on a very low dose of Levo (50mcg) and when my
TSH
was low enough, he told me to stop. IVF cycle failed and when I retested my
TSH
a few weeks later, it was 56. Started on Levo again and felt awful. Ended up getting pregnant spontaneously that month.

New bloods
Hi guys, Looks like everyone was right on here in thinking that my
TSH
last time was so low due to a flare-up.

has anyone felt not great on T3?
I’m on a T3 trial and haven’t felt like myself on it since I started, my
TSH
is too low for my Endo, who will want to reduce my meds next week. Has anyone gone down from 10mg to 5 mg and felt better?

Baffling results on T4&T3!
TSH
6.69 (0.7-4.2) T4 13.5 (12-22) T3 4.1 (3.1-6.8) Ferritin also low again at 19 (13-150). Serum iron 19.1 (6-26). I didn’t get B12 or VitD tested this time but I’ve been on supplements (B complex, 1000-2000 VitD) for years and levels are usually fine so hopefully they’re at least ok!

My
TSH
has been as high as 4.8 but is now 1.2. Both free T4 & T3 are in the accepted health range now. During this time I had good access to available testing every 3 months so any changes were then easy to track back to nutritional changes I'd made.
