Small uterine polyp 6.5mm and continuing with FET? Any success stories
Hi all, My main question is has anyone gone ahead with a FET when they have had a small polyp on their lining and what was the outcome? If positive outcome was there any problems later down the line with the polyp. Being offered 3 options, continue with the FET as it's smaller than the NICE guidelines

IVF medication following BFP for those with POF?
Hi everyone Hoping to find a consensus re: dates of stopping hormone treatment for those with premature ovarian failure going through IVF. Recently thrilled to get a BFP following D5 DE FET (still early days, only 4.5 weeks along). My clinic seem to adopt a 'one-size fits all' approach and stops progesterone

Telling your manager about IVF treatment
Afternoon all, Did you tell anyone at work that you're undergoing an IVF treatment? I don't really want anyone to know but I think it may look suspicious that I keep telling my manger that I need to go to another "hospital appointment". And at the egg collection stage when I need to be off work for

stopping Progynova and Cyclogest at 12 weeks
hi all, I had a successful pregnancy test result in August after a FET at the end of July, and since then I have been taking Cyclogest and Progynova three times a day. I have been told by the clinic to stop them at 12 weeks but not how I should stop them, and the midwife doesn’t know. Should I stop

Lashes...
This is probs a stupid question but can you get a lash lift or semi-perm fake lashes put on when TTC? I was a bit worried about the chemicals...I'm unlikely to do an IVF cycle until January next year, though I might be doing some blood tests with Tommy's in December (I was looking at getting my lashes

accidentally taken too much meriofert!!
hey everyone back for our 3rd round of IVF after two failures and never had embryos to freeze and already made a mistake…. I’m on 375 meriofert and the nurse said to take 5 vials (she thought we had 75iu) but it turns out it was 150 vials so for the last two days I’ve been taking 750iu of meriofert.

Waiting for lap whilst trying to conceive advice
Hiya all, I was looking for some advice or generally to see if anyone has the same situation. I'm 35 now, and was told I had endo when I was 27 but as my symptoms were not severe enough by the time I was seeing specialists in my 30s they said to me that I didn't need a lap. I've had years of painful

Looking for double donor experience and advice
Hi everyone, it’s been a few months since I’ve been active on here. After 3 failed rounds of IVF on my own with donor sperm, I’ve made the decision to move forwards with an egg donor as well a sperm donor. I’m feeling good about my decision and optimistic about it but I’d love to speak to anyone who

I am in shock but after 5 failed ivf attempts, a chemical pregnancy two months ago, a test I just done (on day period is due) is positive!! it is faint but definitely there. We thought we would try naturally for a few months b4 embarking on the next round . I have progesterone pessaries left from previous

How many donor eggs did you purchase?
Hi. After two failed rounds of IVF using my own eggs this year, I’ve decided to move to donor eggs. I have chosen a clinic, and they allow you to purchase 6 or 10 frozen eggs. I have identified a donor who has a cohort of 6 eggs for purchase, and I am pretty happy with my choice. We share the same

Left ovary not responding
Hello everyone, I’m on my third round of IVF . Just turned 43. The first two resulted with no eggs being fertilised so I took a break for 4 months and took a new set of vitamins and supplements to improve egg quality ( after reading it begins with the egg) day 7 of my ovuleap and fermadryl stimulation

Round 2 medication totally different. Norethisterone. Meriofert & fostimon. 10000 gonasi
28th September Had my appointment with the nurse following a failed IVF cycle, three eggs collected (Two fertilised) producing no day 6 Blastos. The whole time only 2/3 folicles ovaries respondeded with one getting significantly bigger - after egg collection was told I had a cyst. Cysts not uncommon

Over 40yrs 4th transfer 3dpt
Hi I've never posted before, so apologies in advance for the ramble. We've been ttc 15yrs now . First short protocol cycle was 10yrs ago on the NHS which failed. Second was privately funded using the same hospital and ended in a chemical pregnancy. We took a break after that because the clinic suggested

Confusion about MPN. Please help
I posted this on Reddit and a kind user referred me to this forum, so here I am… I’m 36 and have had chronically high platelets since my early 20’s (typically around 525k). To my knowledge, I don’t think my platelets have ever been normal. My PCP has never expressed any concerns, as my other bloodwork

Round 2: First scan
So this morning was my first scan of round 2 and as we were driving to the clinic it all suddenly hit me and I got really teary - here we go again, jumping straight back on the emotional rollercoaster that is ivf! I was so scared and nervous for what I was about to see given the unknowns surrounding

Struggling
I had several losses and two of which were ectopics and was rendered infertile due to removal of tubes. Faced with the possibility of not being able to have a child of my own damaged me in ways I can’t even comprehend. Even though now I have my gorgeous little ivf boy here it still hasn’t taken that
