Sulphur Springs Trail race report
The rain today turned the trails to squelchy soup, and I realized my trail shoes were great for up and down hills, but had no
traction
left to right for banked hills. And so I face planted, not once but twice.

Coming off Pred for tooth extraction?
I have to have a back tooth out, the dentist has advised me that I have to come off Prednisolone a week beforehand to aid healing. Is this common practice? I seem to be successfully tapering (down to 8mg at the moment) and am worried that I’ll be back to square one again....

Pruritus
Hi all, do any of you have itching even when dry? Not only after a shower? It is very disturbing and lasts much longer! If so have you noticed if certain foods trigger it? I must start keeping a record. Also how many days before a tooth extraction do we stop aspirin? Thank you

Wisdom tooth extraction
Has anyone had to deal with this? I’m 62 years old and now a wisdom tooth has popped out and some is on the side of my gum. Guess I’m a late bloomer ;) I’m going to the dentist this afternoon after a rough weekend but also at the end of my Ibrance cycle so counts are low and think I’m having difficulty

Data Points
Costantini and his colleagues have published several papers this has not enabled them to get the
traction
they see as necessary for PD patients. This is an issue of scale.

Tooth extraction & RA drugs
I am on Hydroxychloroquine tablets daily, methotrexate injection once a week & as from 26th June I will be on an Amgevita injection fortnightly. Do I need to stop all these drugs before having a tooth extracted? All info would be very helpful 😊

The healing power of bleach
Once these quack remedies gain
traction
, they live forever. I hope that baby isn't really drinking bleach, even if it is diluted, and has a dash of lemon juice. This really puts Robsupernova's boiled lettuce cure into sharp relief.

Curved penis - Peyronie Disease - Andropeyronie traction device
My doctor recommended me to use Andropeyronie
traction
device. I have started to use it as recommended in the instructions and all is fine so far. I am wearing it 8 hours a day divided in periods of 2 hours.

ONJ, zometa, xgeva
Hi, I did 2 months of zometa then switched to xgeva due to side effects of the zometa. I took xgeva for about a year and a half then had a small piece of exposed jaw bone. Oral surgeon said ONJ, onc said no more xgeva or any drug in it's class. Oral surgeon removed a large piece of upper jaw bone 4/23

Getting Sick and tired of PMR and other Stuff!
Its Mothers Day! My bouquet of Roses is a Flare, and I'm getting pretty frustrated with this whole PMR business, (and other stuff)!! Newest diagnosis for the pain I'm having in my lower back, is stenosis and stuff. Pain is chronic and 24-7 , (unless I dose with pain pills). Surgery is around

Wisdom Tooth out! 😱😁
Hello all you wonderful people who sent words of encouragement before my tooth extraction. The oral surgeon only removed one wise tooth, said its odd placement and small cavity was sufficient reason to pull it! And pull he did! And twist, and tug, and wiggle, and so on. The second wisdom tooth is healthy

Return of symptoms
Hi, i’m new, glad to have found you all. I’m 82 and was diagnosed with PMR in July 2015. Gradually reduced to 5mg pred over a year ago but have got stuck there, which is depressing. I don’t think my family realise how fatigued I get. Two days ago I suddenly got return of painful upper arm when I reach

Needed opinions on dental work while on Prednisone
Hello friends, I have a question about the effect of Prednisone on a tooth extraction and if you had the experience with dental IV sedation. Is it safe for us PMrs?

Dental work + Delayed treatment
May I ask if anyone had a dental work done (root canal + crown) while on Xgeva? My husband had a very painful tooth infection with abscess last month, had very high fever and then dentist recommended root canal and then putting a post before the crown because the tooth is no longer stable. This was dentist

Relief at last!
After the first neck adjustment I noticed my balance was better and after a number of visits and
traction
my shakes stopped. Now this morning is the 1st time in months I woke up not shaking. Just wanted to let you know to keep going until you find something that works.

"Get Crazy With The Cheese Wedge"
She is cut off by the sound of a car door slamming and tyres screaching for
traction
as the young couple's Ford C-Max scrambles away and off into the distance. That's how it goes in my head anyway. It's a strange thing, my head.
