Thyroid Function Tests
Unknown to myself, a
TPO
was also included in this test, which came back at >500. After reading further and recommendations on here, I got thyroid function tests as the next step. I have got the results and I understand they have all come back normal (TSH 2.18, Free T4 16.6, Free T3 4.9).

Ashwagandha
My TSH and T4 has returned to normal and expected to go hypo and Levothyroxine to be prescribed after next blood test, my
TPO
is more than 1300, energy zero! Even though it’s a member of the nightshade family does anyone have experience of taking Ashwagandha and has it been helpful?

Auto-immune thyroiditis/Hashimoto’s; Thyroxine reduced 125 to 100mcg 23/7/21 - now test shows TSH swung from 0.01 to 8.25 now. Surprising?
Diagnosed w/hypothyroidism in 2003 :-)but just had anti
TPO
/TG antibodies confirmed last month (accidentally - the lab did the wrong tests!) So, back in 7/2021, my GP dropped my Thyroxine from 125mcg to 100mcg, as my TSH was 0.01.

Not so subclinical hypothyroidism
FT4 similar but I was previously told -ve for antibodies, as only
TPO
tested but the other antibodies they tested are positive so not so good .... This test included cortisol which is also high, but I guess could be stress of trying to do the blood test, or work?

Asteotic Eczema / Eczema Craquele
I have hashimotos (
TPO
antibodies on previous blood test), but my thyroid tests have never been out of range, so I don't take T4/T3. TSH was around 0.6 at its last test, and T4/T3 were bottom quarter of the range.

Hashimoto/Autoimmune Encephalitis or Thyroid Disease?
Some of the tests for Hashimoto Encephalitis would include
TPO
& NMDA besides others. HESA is one of the groups I follow.

Has anyone tried low dose naltrexone? How did it go for you?
Apparently it can lower
TPO
antibodies, which in my case, even after removing gluten, dairy and soy, are very high (960). Has anyone tried this?

Help with latest bloods?
Following a blood test where I was advised I had high
TPO
antibodies I saw a private endo, blood showed hashimotos however he said blood indicating I was likely to go overactive although symptoms suggest underactive.

Fluctuating Antibodies???
My problem is that I’ve done blue Horizon test and I was positive for TG antibodies but negative for
TPO
. But when the NHS tested the same antibodies about 1-2 weeks later they were both negative.

TPO
....334 kU/L (0-30) - Results came through today and they have given me an appointment to follow up on this result. On the phone conversation with GP regarding Vit D she also mentioned my liver function was borderline. I don't know if this has anything to do with all this as well?

Serum levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone, free thyroxine, and anti-thyroid peroxidase (
TPO
) antibodies, urinary iodine concentration, thyroid volume, and thyroid echogenicity were evaluated. We also analyzed table salt iodine concentrations.
