Nobel Prize - William Kaelin, Peter Ratcliffe, and Gregg Semenza.
I was interested to see this morning's news [1] because it has a bearing on a point I was recently trying to make (unsuccessfully). It's not uncommon to find someone on a cancer site claim that cancer hates oxygen. 'If only we could get more oxygen to the cancer it would die.' PCa is not at all inconvenienced

A Conversation with Dr Tam about Zanubrutinib: A Novel BTK Inhibitor
How does zanubrutinib differ from ibrutinib in pharmacokinetics and target occupancy? Zanubrutinib has a more-specific target binding profile than ibrutinib. It binds to BTK at least as potently as ibrutinib. Zanubrutinib has fewer off-target effects on related enzymes, including the epidermal growth

Thumbs up for Nilotinib - Phase II Trials
Those of you who are following clinical trials for repurposed drugs that offer potential to slow or halt the progression of PD will no doubt recall the highly favorable reports from the Phase I trial of Nilotinib that was done at Georgetown University and was reported on in October of 2015. You will

Experience with brands of t3
I currently take
tirosint
, as I couldn’t find a levothyroxine that suited me without issues other than it. Has anyone with a similar experience found a t3 that works for them? I see conflicting things about cytomel. Some say it’s gluten free, and others say it’s not.

Tirosint users
I have been on a treatment with
tirosint
and cytomel. I wanted to know if anyone is taking
tirosint
. I had a wonderful results with the medication. I hope my success with
tirosint
will help someone else. I know it contains no dyes and acacia, which helps absorption.

Ordering NDT versus staying on T4 / T3
I’ve been taking T3 along with T4 for 8 days (
Tirosint
& a Greek brand of T3). Only slight betterment. I tried to order NDT from Thailand and it didn’t work out (they wanted to be paid with Bitcoin…). As of today, I got a message that it’s okay, they accept Visa again.

Totally confused now....help with understanding endocrinologist please
She insisted.... but says continue with taking my 100 u
tirosint
6 days of the week and on the seven day take 50 u. ..... so my question is, will this really make much difference? have to see her again in four months and she only wants FSH and FT4 tested as she says the FT3 test is unreliable .

Once cytomel can you get off?
I have been on a combo of cytomel and
tirosint
. I wanted to know if you get off it, because I couldn’t. Due to severe side effects on the cytomel, my body seems to lose the ability to convert.

CRPC & 'Drug Repositioning'

This is the fifth and final post in a series about FDA-approved treatments for each sub-type of MBC. Next week I’ll write about MBC in men, who represent about 1% of all patients. The treatment description below for Triple Negative MBC patients has been reviewed with a Medical Oncologist at Columbia
