Brain Fog, possible HE, Cirrhosis lethargy
Hello all, first time poster. I’ve not had blood drawn yet as with Covid I’d like to stay away from hospital settings as much as possible living in a cramped room somewhere in Brittany, France. I’ve been alcohol free for a year after a good 20 years of abuse floating this way and that, 45 year old woman

Frustrated with LevoThyroxine Treatment, tried L-Tyrosine
I became frustrated with still feeling awful on Levothyroxine treatment, having 'OK' bloods but still all the symptoms. So I experimented upping my own dose from 100 to 200, felt great, but my bloods were out, and my GP politely suggested I go back to 150. Which I did. Gained weight, tired again, memory

Bruises on fingers !!
Hello everyone… I’m worried my
Tirosint
dose is too high, has anyone experienced bruising on fingertips ( without having hurt my hand… it seems to be internal! ). Is it a blood pressure problem…? Any advice appreciated! 🙏❤️

Tirosint availability and strength in England
Hi there, I just moved to the UK and neither my GP nor pharmacy knows where I can get
Tirosint
. Might you have a list of
Tirosint
-supplying pharmacies in the UK, particularly in south or west Yorkshire? Also, would you happen to know the
Tirosint
strengths available here in the UK? Thanks.

Is inositol, hexaphosphate form, bad for CLL?
Hi, all. IP6 (a form of inositol called inositol hexaphosphate readily available as a supplement) has been shown to be very anti-cancer, including at least one blood cancer, AML I think. However, as I read about how it works, it seems to indicate that it increases or activates Bruton Tyrosine Kinase

Titrating down on t3 meds
Hi, I'm on
tirosint
50 and cytomil 50. Starting to lose to much weight, and insomnia. No rapid heart beat or elevated pulse. No high blood pressure. I would like to lower my cytomil by 15 mcg to start to see if I feel better. Do I have to titrate down or can I reduce by 15 rt away.

Did the Georgetown University Plan Stand a Chance?
I started this response over three weeks ago. I had some intense dyskinesia that caused me to lose content so I had to start over several times. Thank you to all those people that offered advice. Anyone else had intolerance to fillers in Levothyroxine tablets?
Has anyone tried
Tirosint
gel capsules and are they available on the NHS? Would it be sensible to ask for a referral to an endocrinologist? Apologies for rather long post, but thanks in advance for help.

"A change in diet may reduce risk of lethal prostate cancer" Your thoughts on the study results below?
What do you all think of these findings, particularly regarding the foods listed? Some of them are known to be heathy, such as: fish, beans, nuts, pulses, spinach and beets! Also - What if you already have aggressive prostate cancer, then does eating the less lethal food, mentioned below, become less

Does having a blood RA of 24 mean I have rheumatoid arthritis?
I’m 40 years old with an under active thyroid on
tirosint
. Recently diagnosed with osteoporosis of the lumber spine and no one can figure out why. Possibly due to steroid for a back injury.

Should I taper t3 down?
I just got lab work done and my endo wants to drop my night t3 dose again (I take 2.5mcg every 8 hours and 88mcg
Tirosint
at 10pm). She wants to see if it was a stress response or my thyroid. If it gets inflamed again, I will get an ultrasound done.

Liquid T4 is a better controller than tablet
We addressed the quality of life (QoL) and efficacy of the new ethanol-free formula of liquid LT4 (
Tirosint
®SOL) treatment in 76 euthyroid patients with primary (PH, n = 46) and central hypothyroidism (CH, n = 30), and compared the results to retrospective data on equivalent doses of tablet L-T4 therapy

Hypothyroid misery! would appreciate on my latest lab results
I had become very symptomatic (extreme brain fog, fatigue, depression, weight gain, joint pain) after several years of doing well on 75 mcg levothyroxine, as my former gp kept my TSH at a 1, where I felt best. I relocated, and my new gp (testing only TSH once a year) felt my latest TSH results of 3.96
