IS COLLAGEN SUPPLEMENT SAFE?
Hi all - Does anybody know anything about marine collagen/hyalauronic acid supplement? I’ve been taking this for years (Promotes good skin/hair). When I was diagnosed with limited systemic scleroderma, I asked my rheumatologist if I should stop taking the collagen, and he said it makes no difference.if

Prontogest injection site bleeding
Hey, Hoping someone has experience with this. So I’m leading up to my second frozen embryo transfer and this time we are taking prontogest from the beginning rather than after the transfer has already taken place. So my partner administered the injection today and there was loads of blood afterwards

Floaters after Lucentis
Hi, I had my first injection of Lucentis 9days ago, but I still have two quite big floaters in my vision. Is this normal? I returned for a check up mid-week and the Edema at the back of my eye had gone down a lot. There was no inflammation, but my vision is still really bad. The floaters are incredibly

Worried about supplements.
I forgot to take my supplements today. DCA , Ubiquinol, Fish oil, Lithium orotate, vinpocetine, folic acid, vinpocitine and B1 and I really developed anxiety and the shakes. I took them after lunch and things settled down. Can anyone tell me which of these is essential for PD. I also have the helmet

Incarceration
I don’t know about the rest of you but I have these great plans for passing the time while I’m incarcerated. (Apart from the noose knitting! 😈) I’ve decided it’s great time to do all the things that I’ve shelved for so long. I am a sad creature because I’m actually looking on these things as being

Light sensitivity success. Big thumbs up, optometry rocks.
I've had a number of visual processing and light sensitivity issues after BI. The visual processing, pattern glare, was treated successfully with colorimetry methods, it took 14 months. At the beginning of March I was retested and a pair of transition lenses were prescribed, for sensitivity to bright

Thank you!
I like others have an awful lot to thank this site for and it’s amazing community of you. Today though, I would like to thank all of you whom showed your appreciation and support for the NHS last night, as a worried mum of a newly qualified (in her first year) 22year old nurse it meant a lot, not just

"A reminder that anti-VEGF injections are urgent medical appointments. During lockdown patients should still attend their injections if they are well enough to do so and haven’t been told to self isolate #covid19"

Hiya, I thought to check - we started out busereline injections about 14 days ago and had to stop on Friday due to the corona. Our cycle was postponed. I spent all Friday crying and I triggered a migraine. I get them a lot due to my endo but I hadn’t had one for a few months now. The issue is it won’

Elocon Not working
Hi All Prescribed Elocon 3 weeks ago for lupus profundus on my nose. I have started losing tissue which is upsetting. The redness is slightly reduced and 2 of the bigger bumps but I was told not to use it for more than 2 weeks and then have a break. If it has not cleared what do I do now ? Wait to lose

Is the Loss of Smell an Indicator of COVID-19 Infection? Probably
Spinning off comments by UK’s ENT president...and the fact that TORY MP Nadine Dorries has revealed she has completely lost her senses of taste and smell after contracting COVID-19, this is my take. (For information purposes only. See or call your physician.) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

RA Nice Guidelines re Covid 19
Hi. Sorry I can’t put a link on. I’m not that technical. But on the Guardians news website it says NICE will be issuing guidelines soon re RA and Covid 19. They’ve already done it for cancer patients and those on kidney dialysis. Sorry no further information in the article

First day of the new me.
Today is my first day of reduced hours at work. I am very fortunate my employer has been very supportive. I have reduced my working hours from 35 to 28 giving me a day off. Breaks the week up for me. 😊 This will be reviewed in three months time and changes can be made either temporarily or permanently
