Ocular hypertension
Ocular hypertension is an eye pressure of greater than 21 mm Hg. Yesterday I found that I had 23 mm Hg eye pressure, and I wonder if it is related to ET or Hydroxyurea? Anyone deal with this? Thank you all.

Burning Skin
I have been doing so well on NDT since February 2019 TSH - 0.46 (0.3 - 4.5) FT4 - 16.4 (12 - 22) FT3 - 5.7 (3.1 - 6.8) but on 28 April I was taken into hospital with quick onset glaucoma. I was given a drip to bring down the pressure that evening and had to go back the following morning for laser

methotrexate and a dry mouth
I have been taking 7.5mg methotrexate weekly plus folic acid x 6 days a week for mild R.A. I have always had some issues with a dry mouth at night but this seems to be getting worse. It is so bad some nights that I frequently wake up with the whole of my mouth and tongue completely dry. I drink water

Hello all, I just saw a tweet about the findings from the Covid-19 Global Rheumatology Alliance. I'll paste part of the 'Key Messages' section here as it explains better than I can: "Due to underlying immune system dysfunction and the common use of immunosuppressants, there is concern about poorer

Blurry vision and headache
I suffer with a squint in my right eye, which causes a lot of symptoms. I had an operation when I was 9, but it's all gone down hill. I've woken up with blurry vision in my right eye and an extreme headache when looking around. Anyone have any ideas what this could be?.

Myo and D Chiro Inositol for Hashimotos
Hi all I’d really appreciate your thoughts. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos around 6 years ago after gradually becoming very unwell with Hypo symptoms. Two years ago I found out the Hashimotos had destroyed my ovarian reserve and after a number of false starts and two rounds of IVF my consultant advised

Dry very itchy eyes
I think I have posted for advice re. eye problem before and for a time was taking Hycosan, hycosan extra and hycosan night which provided quite a bit of ease. However no longer working...anyone got any other suggestions?, opticians only dealing with emergencies at present.

Intra-muscular depo-madrone injection
I have had an intramuscular 120mg depo-medrol injection to treat newly diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis affecting my hands and wrists as a “test” before starting DMARDS. Can anyone shed any light on what as a “test” means, how long it takes to work and how long any relief may last?

Emdr for Real Event OCD
Has anyone ever done EMDR for Real Event OCD? I did something to someone years ago that I simply cannot forgive myself for though they have forgiven me. I think about it daily and it was over a year ago. Thanks!

First run done.
I’ve taken the opportunity to start the C25K as the streets are much quieter. I’m visually impaired (blind in one eye and no peripheral vision in the other) therefore I’ve always been worried about bumping into people! So I’m enjoying a little more space during this lockdown. I’ve started exercising

Face mask project part 1
Well, I was all set to try making a face mask, pieces are all cut out ready, when I got a message on Friday from brother who lives in an assisted living facility with his wife who is paralysed down her left side following a brain stem stroke. Anyway, he’d decided he wanted to give her carers thank you

Pegasys syringe sometimes leaks
I have been on Pegasys 90mcg weekly since last July. I am always very careful preparing the syringe but approximately every second or third week some leaks out from the join between the needle part and the syringe part. The drug is working so I can't be losing that much I suppose (even though it feels
