Injection and heat masks
I normally use a heated mask to help with my dry eyes and mild blepharitis. I had my Eyelea injection this morning and wondered if it is okay to use the heated mask tonight after having had the injection. Thanks for any help

I’m human. When you cut me, I will bleed.
This journey that life is taking me on. It’s a road i would have never traveled on if it were up to me.... but- it’s not. The world we live in now, 2020- there is so much hate. Too much. Even toward ourselves...especially towards ourselves. I had to embark on this journey once traveled before, but

My Rebif treatment finally came and yesterday was my first injection! It was very easy. I never felt the needle or burning a sensation or flu like symptoms...All smiles... I’m praying you all are doing alright!

Endometriosis and Pregnenolone
Hello ladies. I was wondering if anyone has experience taking Pregnenolone with endometriosis? I had a laporascopy 2 months back to remove my endo and a cyst. I feel worse now then I did pre-op; energy is super low, I have problems sleeping, extreme bloating, pelvic pain (daily) and a foggy brain

Silicone bubble returns
The silicone bubble in my eye, which I received a few years ago from an Avastin injection, had been gone for many months - floated out of view. The other day I was working on something, from a standing position looking down at it, when the bubble floated back into my field of vision. I persuaded my

I do not normally post jokes, but I do posses a wicked sense of humour that I do not display here very often. This one was sent to me by my daughter at 5am this morning, no chance of going back to sleep again after that. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do

Reverse Fartleks :)
No...not trying to breathe through both ends of my body like I was on Day one, Week one :) "Fartlek, which means "speed play" in Swedish, is continuous training with interval training" (Wikipedia) I've been sidelined for a wee while because of an eye injury but got cleared just this morning to run again

Diabetic macular oedema and cataracts
Hi, I have DMO and currently having injections in both eyes. I went to the opticians this week and although I have mentioned cataracts at the eye clinic it has not been discussed. The optician said my cataract in my left eye had progressed a fair bit. Is it correct that it will not be operated on whilst

Panicking - have I been taking the wrong supplements?
So I just realised I was taking Coq10 600 mg but the Ubiquinone rather than the Ubiquinol. I could kick myself for this mistake! Does this matter? I am already on Stims and I am now freaking out. Does it matter? What’s the difference?

Is anyone taking Remsima by subcutaneous injection?
I am about to change from IV infusions to SC injections to avoid the hospital visit at this time of Covid 19. The dosage is 120mg every two weeks as opposed to 140mg every eight weeks. This dose is for all weights - but I'm 45kg, and it would be the same dose for someone of 75kg! I also have Methotrexate

Anyone have dry or swollen eyes and can check this photo please/ advise on drops?
Hello, hope everyone as ok as possible. My eyes have been a bit dodgy for a while, most times the lupus has flared and I’ve been in hospital, they’ve been inflamed and red along with the rest of me. Drs have queried various things, including Sjögrens and deeper inflammation like scleritis. Husband

myopic flashes
hi i’ve been myopic all my life. I’m starting to worry about flashes. I’m pretty sure i’ve had them all my life but they have been more intense. I saw an ophthalmologist and I have vitreous syneresis and peripheral cystoid degeneration which is common and benign. should I be worried? I’m 25 and my contact

Fragile X Syndrome. In shock
And to top it all.......my twin sister has now also been tested as infertile and the consultants are concerned that there may be a genetic problem called Fragile X Syndrome. We are being genetically screened and if we are carriers it’s just game over for us. I really could just cry.
