Iridotomy today.
Well the time has finally arrived for my iridotomy on both eyes this afternoon . I feel ok about it, a bit nervous obviously , just hoping 🤞🏻I don’t get any of the visual side effects like ghosting , lines and glare . Wish hubby could come in with me though for company . Hope everyone is doing ok

Hello!
Hello all! I am new to the community. 2 months ago my mom's undetected brain aneurysm ruptured. We feared the worst but got the best. After being in an induced coma and then waking up she moved finally to a rehab hospital and is on her way to recover. During that time my dad suffered a trauma injury

Eye irritation after clinic appointment
Good morning all! I recently had a clinic appointment 6 weeks after having an aqueous shunt removed from my right eye (it wouldn’t stop leaking.) Recovery has been going well and I was finally getting on top of managing my dry eye symptoms - mainly by using a shed load of Thealoz Duo dry eye drops. Anyway

Happier and worried at the same time
Went for another check-up yesterday regarding eye pressures. They have gone down to 18 in each eye, so I am back to just the Monopost at night now with another check up in three months time. The right eye that had the cataract op has healed up, although I still get reflections from lights at night

Had my first ever eye injection with Eylea, have a question
I thought I was prepared for my first injections (both eyes). I seemed to be handling it ok until I felt something happening inside my eye. It was really difficult to cope with. Ive not noticed anyone else mentioning this, is it usual to experience this, it happened with both eyes. Also seconds after

Vision symptoms in PD?
Each morning I have crusts of dried mucous in both eyes. But much worse in my left eye, the same side that has PD signs like tremor. Is the eye condition typical of PD? I've been using Restasis eyedrops for several years to treat Dry Eye. But have been dealing with PD for less than one year.

Late ovulation on ovulation induction medication?
Hi everyone, I'm in my first month of ovulation induction medication (Clomid or Letrozole which is unknown due to a study I'm participating in). I had the follicle tracking scan on cycle day 13 and I had 2 follicles at around 17.7mm and was told I'd ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. On my home ovulation

lubion needle size
Hey, Quick question, I have been given 25G 25mm needles to use for the lubion injections, in the drug info sheet it says should use 27G 13mm needles. I know the 25G is smaller than the PIO needles 😬 but these still feel too big and I can't gauge how far to stick them in. What size did your clinic give

Update on hospital visit
After my very traumatic post op telephone call I was right to be seen so it turned out. Possibility of detached retina, need to go back if floaters get worse or I have flashing lights. Great news my pressures are down! However have to remain on all my glaucoma drops, increase the number of dry eye drops

Impending macular hole
Hi, I’m extremely worried, my 21 year old daughter has been diagnosed with impending macular hole in the left eye. Eye test sorted
Just to let you all know, had a very thorough eye test today and am very happy that no GCA detected...she thought my xrays showed very healthy eyes for a woman my age! (71) Mild cataracts, but nothing else to concern me. We had a long chat about GCA and what I should be aware of so

Necrotizing scleritis
I'm struggling with ongoing eye issues. I had uveitis in my right eye which seems to be clearing up. However, I've started having intense pain in the same eye. This was diagnosed as necrotizing scleritis by my ophthalmologist consultant. Was given more steroid eye drops and prednisolone increased.
