allergic to most eye drops
I had a cataract operation to help lower my eye pressure as I am so allergic to the drops but unfortunately it didn't work and my pressure has remained the same at 20 in that eye and for some reason gone up to 23 in the other one that still has a cataract.I am going back to the clinic next week and think

Istents and cataract surgery but pressures still high
Hi, I'm new here and looking for some support and advice. I was diagnosed with glaucoma 12 years ago at 38. My pressures have always varied from 18 to 35 (when I was first diagnosed). The last 3 months they have gone up to 45 despite new drops. As a result I had a cataract operation in both eyes and

Contact lenses and injections
I have myopic cnv in my right eye and had my first injection 12 days ago. I normally wear contact lenses but haven’t worn them since before my injection. Does anyone else have injections and regularly wear contact lenses? I know I’m probably fine to wear them again now but still worried about infections

Bacterial Eye infection/conjunctivitis
I have a rather nasty bout of conjunctivitis which is getting me down somewhat. I have been using Chloramphenicol ointment for 3 days but it seems to make the pain worse. Also tried eye wipes and holding a flannel soaked with warm water which is good at relieving the irritation for a while. Its been

Dry Mouth.
For those of you suffering are you doing anything that’s helping you produce more saliva? Not temporary like Biotene products and xylitol. I’m desperate. I don’t have Sjogrens.

Steroid purpura~ not to worry
I took it upon myself to see a hematologist. The only thing I can't deal with is the unknown. These blotches, large and small, are constantly on my legs and arms in places where I knew it wasn't a bruise; all kinds of shapes and sizes. They stay for at least three days and then appear in other spaces

Recently diagnosed with myopic CNV
Hello all, very newly diagnosed with myopic CNV in my right eye (I’m 41 years old) and had my first injection last Tuesday. I have distortion in my central vision. I’m desperately trying to remain positive but it all came on so quickly I didn’t ask any questions nor really understand the condition. Will

Any advice for first Pegasys injection?
Tomorrow will be my first Pegasys injection. I realize I may have some flu type symptoms afterwards but wondered if anyone has any advice on the best way to limit the side effects, if any? Thanks! Kim

Sulphasazine
I saw both rheumatologist and ophthalmologist last week. Good news - I'm having cataract surgery under general anaesthetic. Apparently its high risk hence general. I'm also down on prednisolone from 15mg to 12.5mg. I'm hoping to be symptom free reducing by 2.5mg. Bad news - I'm now have to take sulpasazine

Sad Times 😞
We lost our beautiful Brodie Bear two weeks ago. I haven’t posted about it because we have been trying to keep busy but we are truly heartbroken. He was only off his food for a few days then violently sick over the Easter weekend and we took him to the emergency vets. To our horror he was in kidney failure

Bloodshot eye from a scratch now seems to be more bloodshot.
Hello all, A week ago I scratched the lower part of the white of my eye. The blood seemed to be diminishing, but several days ago when waking up the eye was painful, like very bad dry eye. Cool eye drops helped, but it is still sore and veins around the eye are more red. My vision doesn’t
