biotin
Hi all, asking for mt daughter. Does biotin increase or decrease TSH levels in blood tests. She has just had blood results in with TSH at 18 (0.3 to 5) . Up til now she has always had results bottom of range but high TPOs and not on any thyroid hormones. Dr tests her every 6 months to see how things

Over-medicated (Levothyroxine)?
Hello, I wondered if someone could help me? Apologies for posting lots of results below, but I thought it might help with context. I have just received my latest NHS results and I think I may be over-medicated still? Interestingly, I had a dose reduction 6 weeks ago and although my FT4 has reduced,

Forgot to mention in my last post that results from the blood test for my Thyroid ie TSH and FT4 came back as abnormal meaning they were outside the reference range so have had to have my thyroxine medication increased, so decrease of prednisolone and Thyroid levels not being ideal could be reason I

Could anyone tell me the benefit of having both TT4 and Free T4 tested please…just looking at differences in tests and prices please?
Hi, I won’t repeat the question, just wondering if anyone could give me an idea on this please. Obviously a bit of difference between the pricing of the two tests I’m looking at and not sure how helpful that info could be? Im not on anything for thyroid, but tsh has been up and down in past so I keep

Thyroid issues
Hi. My TSH levels have been 0.02 for over a year, yet T3 and T4 have been in the normal range.I have chronic fatigue, reason I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism 20 years ago, and they have reduced my Levothyroxine to 75mg now. I am so concerned that this is going to cause my fatigue to get worse.

First FET - how chilled to be after?
Hi all, Just starting our 2nd IVF attempt with a FET, with our only frozen embryo. We’ve been trying for 2 years, tests show I have a low AMH of around 4, and husband had varicocele causing low motility, count & shape. We had ICSI in spring this year which sadly didn’t implant, so really nervous about

Advice please on blood results especially possible iron issues.
I would be very grateful for any advice on my recent blood results please. I am concerned that for first time ever MCH and MCHC are just over range. My serum B 12 has historically been at top of range without supplementing. This has now dropped lower although still high in range. Never feel well although

Does my daughter need thyroid medication?
My daughter is 17 and has been struggling with low energy, constipation and difficulty concentrating in class. I have Hashimotos and recognised some of these symptoms so had her tested privately. She takes Better You spray 3000 with K2 / day at the moment but no other supplements). Blood test

It feels like it has been 2 weeks already lol. I've been having slight cramps the past few days & yesterday had a teenie bit of brown spotting but putting that down to the transfer. Due to test on 29th July - I don't think I'll test early as it bursts the hope bubble & I want to stay in it as long

Test results back - within range?
I posted last week that I suspected I was hypo (family history... that and coeliac) and you suggested I go away and get bloods tested. So results are as follows, all 'within range'... Slightly disappointed because I hoped that hypo might explain some of the symptoms I have that are otherwise unexplained

Question on THS and atrophic thyroiditis
I hope you knowledgeable people can help me with learning more to assist me with advocating for my own health. On this forum, it is agreed that THS is not the sole marker on which to base treatment decisions. In the case of a thyroid which is chronically atrophied, is the TSH likely to be of even less
