I had a hemi-
thyroidectomy
in 2007 for multi-nodular goitre. Since having thyroid problems I'm now more aware of trying to keep it functioning healthily, so any tips or advice would be welcome. I'm not on medication but do have some symptoms of underactive thyroid.

Pregnancy & Thyroidectomy
I had a full
thyroidectomy
in 2018 with no complications and am now trying to get pregnant but seem to be having a hard time. Can anyone help provide information on what the ideal TSH levels are and any other nutritionals to ensure I am creating a fertile environment?

Thyroid blood levels suddenly very high.
My sister's thyroid blood levels have increased, after 20 years of taking 75mcg Thyroxine (she had a full
Thyroidectomy
due to a goitre in 2001). She's been suffering AF and hot flush symptoms since January, as the Dr has gradually reduced the dose. Two days ago she started on 25mcg daily.

Liver Diagnosis - Does Any of This Sound Familiar?
At that time I estimate my alcohol consumption to be less than 8 drinks a year but was hypothyroid due to having a total
thyroidectomy
in 2008. I received my diagnosis over the phone during the same period of time I was being evaluated for Gastric Cancer.

T3 and suppressed TSH plus bone density
(I had Graves 30 years ago and a
thyroidectomy
aged 21, approximately 25 years ago). Three years ago I was diagnosed with low bone density. Since being on the ERFA my TSH has been suppressed, anything between 0.01 to 0.1.

Liothyroine stopped again!
I had a total
thyroidectomy
4 years ago and 6 months later was prescribed Liothyroine which made a massive difference then 16 months ago it was stopped with no alternative and was told it was due to the cost. I then had a series of tests which proved I needed it and got it back.

Partial Thyroid removed last year, more problems to other side? Can anyone comment?
Hi all, I had a partial
thyroidectomy
last March as I had large goitres on the left hand side of my thyroid. I was fine after the op and right up until December of last year when I started having exactly the same symptoms on the right hand side of my thyroid.

Blood tests result after using T4?T3 combination
I have had a total
thyroidectomy
in 1980 so I understand it is ok to have a suppressed TSH when the thyroid gland has been removed BUT most endos start to panic when this happens. So not sure how to negotiate with the endo to carry on with the combination therapy.
