Missed period.. is this normal?
Since having my daughter my periods have returned fine and are very regular, to the day. However this month it just hasn’t come at all! I’m currently about 4/5 days late. I’m not on any contraception and we did make a HUGE error of having unprotected sex on the 7th November, the morning after pill was

ASH 2021-- White Blood Counts Key to Managing Thrombotic Events in Polycythemia Vera
<<We should be moving beyond the conventional risk models, and start to include additional factors—whether we're talking about blood counts, allele burdens, even lymphocyte counts, perhaps—to make better models to predict
thrombosis
>> I agree, esp about allele, but we know it's "complicated".

Part 2, DALIAH INF-HU trial new data analysis
(age 44 vs 64) ASXL1 is associated with Jak 2 phenotype TET2, DNMT3A, or ASXL1 associate with older age and major
thrombosis
and esp prior stroke (odds ratio 5.2) this is very strong correlation when both age and these mutations are present. TET alone had odds ratio of 3.03 for prior stroke.

Proving Polycythaemia Vera (PV) with/without WHO2016 criteria
Whilst stopping treatment is unadvisable both from the insurer’s requirement not to endanger oneself and the Dr’s in preventing a
thrombosis
. Anyone know someone/anything to assist to prove the case? Thank you.

For those with secondary APS
A new study on DOACs for thrombotic APS non triple positive patients with Venous
thrombosis
vs arterial
thrombosis
shows that DOACs may be appropriate over warfarin. This does not apply to arterial non triple positive patients nor any triple positive peeps. More studies will be needed to confirm.
