Thank you Fibro Action!
I have Fibro, osteoarthritis, pernicious anaemia, low vitamin d, anklyosing spondylosis, cervical spondylosis, migraine, plantar fasciitis, and permanent
tendonitis
in my ankle - this all means I am in severe pain every step I take as it comes from my foot all the way to my head.

Turmeric as an anti-inflammatory
I have osteo-arthritis as well as PMR (though I hope I'm almost finished with that) and have some
tendonitis
as a result of pred treatment. I'm not allowed to take Ibuprofen or Diclofenac and have been considering using turmeric tablets to ease joint pain.

Aaaargh! Physio here I come.
It's not my joint, it's muscular or
tendonitis
or something. Once I know what I'm dealing with it will be better I hope! I was hoping I'd be up to 6 - 7k by now. I wanted to get up to that level so that all the 5k runs I planned to go in for this year would be a walk in the park.

Adverse reaction to T3/lack of T4? Strange symptoms...
At first I assumed it was RSI/
tendonitis
as I'm a violinist but after 3 months of complete rest, strong anti inflammatories, splints, physio and regular icing it had only gotten worse and I was unable to wash my own hair/dress myself and even holding a fork or a cup was too painful.

Is it odd to have a flare on one side only? and anyone had there jaws joints 'rinsed out'
hello, in my very early days before diagnosis this would happen, almost like
tendonitis
which would last for a day then go away. for the first time in 2 years I have had visible swelling on one hand and the tendons were agony, but next day all was fine again!

Has anybody seen my mojo?
Had a bout of achilles
tendonitis
but now OK. Have done the treadmill a few times last week but can't seem to muster up the enthusiasm to get outside in the cold and run. Not felt like this since I started running and it's making me feel incredibly guilty.

Had my Eureka moment and then.....
I think it may be
tendonitis
. My Husband gave me a massage and found a 'ridge' right over where my pain is. It's no good, I'm going to have to rest it. I gave it a weeks rest before and I've gone straight back to square 1 having run again last night. Really hobbling today. Really gutted.

Injury - no running.
He said its probably a groin strain or
tendonitis
and i should rest it (no running) for 8 to 12 days. So thats me not doing any exercise till at least xmas eve. I'm worried i may stuggle to motivate myself to get back to it after that long but its better i heal and not make it worse.

Statistics!
I'm a bit of a statto. I always have been. I enjoy trawling through endless stats relating to another of my passions (Football), looking at player records, head-to-heads, averages, league progress, comparisons to previous years. The list goes on. It's not for everyone I accept, but I love to fill

Do you feel like you've been kicked in the coccyx?!
I have discussed the possibility of it being menopausal
tendonitis
(I am 48) and will be trying HRT in the new year. Does anyone have any experience of my particular pain?

Leptin and its role in Weight Control
I was reading about the role of Leptin in weight control, and my initial thought was: Is it safe to take Leptin to control appetite? Leptin is a hormone which binds to receptors in the Hypothalamus - yes, the same gland which starts the thyroxine cycle by stimulating the pituitary to produce TSH - and

Increased muscle tone in legs?
The doctor told me yesterday that I have increased tone in my leg muscles. He said probably nothing to worry about. Does anyone know if this is just another symptom of fibromyalgia? I also get the feeling that I have "heavy bricks" in the soles of my feet. Thanks xxx :)

I live in Alaska and therapists are not that familiar with CMT. I spend a lot of time on the computer and feeling the symptoms
of
tendonitis
in my hands. So I am trying to find relief for the pain. The therapist that I went to see today recommend hand exercises with squeezing putty and lifting weights for wrist strength. Does that sound correct to you? I do not want to do anything that will aggravate the situation.

Back to the gym for strength training
Hi All! I stopped strength training back in April when I began C25K and know that if I want to improve my speed and endurance I need to start this again. I am fortunate that at work we have a gym and a personal trainer that we can book an appointment with for free. The last time I saw her was this

how to come off arcoxia.
Hi, I have some form of arthritis but they do not know which one yet. I have been on 90mg arcoxia for 8 months and the doctor has just told me to come off it. According to all the books etc you have to come off it slowly. But HOW SLOWLY? Before I took it nothing else worked I could not sit down, stand

Could my aches and pains, tendonitis, trigger finger, pain in my heel and stiff knees be related to my underactive thyroid?
Most of these have appeared within the last twelve months. I have been on 125 mg Levothyroxine for the past 24 years. I have never had any of my blood test results explained to me just that they are always OK.
