Achy Achilles, any advice please?
Previous to this I had been running in neutral shoes which were not supporting my foot enough (I ended up with
tendonitis
in my foot which has gone since switching shoes). Any thoughts or advice would be welcome, I have a 10k next month so could probably afford to rest a little now if necessary.

New Diagnosis
He wasn't convinced it was anything more than osteoarthritis (knee pain) and
tendonitis
(elbow pain), but ran all the autoimmune tests and did x-rays of my hands since I told him about them hurting so badly. All of the blood tests came back negative for Lupus, RA, etc.

Getting back on track again
After 3 frustrating weeks of no running or walking as the Doc prescribed for achilles
tendonitis
(onset at just a week after graduation), I ventured out tentatively yesterday, at a gentle pace and started back at Week5 Run1, not wanting to stir it up. So far so good.

What went wrong? :(
W6R3...failed miserably! It is my first run outdoors so maybe that was a mistake for my first big run! I had mapped it out so I covered 4km which is the furthest I have managed but I got near my half way point after doing 5 minute warm up and 5 minutes of running so I am guessing I ran far too quickly

Mini adventure
Hope your all doing well and are enjoying the weather! I needed to go to the shop. As I only had one thing to pick up I decided I would run down. It was 1.66 miles. My crazy dog and I ran to the shop but It was a bit too warm and I worry about her in the heat so walked back. I live on top of a 3/4 mile

Achilles Tendonitis / Tendonopathy
Any other sufferers? I was injured two weeks ago (as regular readers will know) and diagnosed on Friday just gone. I've done a few days of the exercises I was given and told that when I do start running again to start off running 1K, then 2K , 3 K etc but I don't know WHEN I can start running again.

Need a rant!
I tried to explain to my estranged mother. About ra, and how much it's affecting and will affect my life and I get this as a reply...."we drinking, smoking and weight are not good if you have that, I've read about it online" Wtf! Not only do I very rarely drink but I'm on an ecig and have put on weight

Laura what happened to you??
Week 4 run 3 just ended. But Laura let me down....she disappeared in the 5 minute run and because I am Pavlovian in my obedience to her word I just kept going lol! When I was about to drop from exhaustion I thought to have a look at my iPod.(still going I may add) and realised I must have somehow stopped

Leaps and Bounds (Post-Graduation Check In)
It's been three months since I finished C25k. In case it helps anyone with motivation or ideas for continuing after the programme, I thought I'd jot a few notes. I decided to continue improving 'free form', rather than use the after-C25k podcasts, and started attending Parkruns on a pretty much weekly

unstable mood today
Also she suggested seeing physio for shoulder pain - saw her, excellent assessment, have
tendonitis
but that interacts with fibro so difficult to tease apart. Still no apt with specialist so see another GP who says he will chase up.

tested positive for DNA antibodies does this mean I am likely to have Lupus?

Tendonitis Anyone?
I have noticed in the last few months recurring
tendonitis
