Worsening fatigue , I'm not getting it still
I was going to try and switch morphine to
tapentadol
but I'm putting this off for now as I'm not up for any added problems, so what on earth is going on, I've had ecg's and they are always ok. Why I'm I so depressed?? And fatigue / tired??

Pain Meds.
I don't seem to have found one yet that mentions Palexia (
Tapentadol
) I take slow release 100mg tabs. 1 every 12 hours. I have been on them for 3years now, they do help a lot but I still get flare ups and breakthrough pain. How many of you are on it? Does it help you? I have fibro.

CFS/Fibromyalgia, is sweating a symptom
I came off
tapentadol
, Venlaflaxine and zopiclone as I thought sweating was caused by one or all of them, but still suffering. Tried iodine for 2 weeks from naturopath and surprise surprise all symptoms disappeared. Fed up with feeling in pain and sweating.

Finally, I've been diagnosed!! I DO have inflammatory arthritis.
I've been told I will start Plaquenil for the Palindromic Rheumatism (I need to arrange to see my GP for this) and after my allergic reaction to the
Tapentadol
for my nerve damage, I've been given BuTrans patches to try instead.

Tapentadol - Yikes, scary! Anyone else taking it?
He believes my pain to be Neuropathic in origin and has prescribed me
Tapentadol
. It is a controlled drug and I had to show ID and sign a special form, and i've been warned I can't take it outside of the UK without a licence from the Home Office.

Did Your Meds Cause More Pain Short Term? Not Liking Tapentadol One Bit!
I went to the pain clinic on Friday and was told
Tapentadol
was my best bet. I was told I would never be pain free, but that I might expect to see a 50% improvement. This is a new drug, specifically designed to treat chronic pain after spinal injury, but it's pretty nasty stuff.

Should I see another GP
My med are
tapentadol
, Venlaflaxine and zopiclone but I did not feel like this last year whilst on these. I am unable to sleep, have put on weight, lost my voice so many times in the last few years. I cut out caffeine, wheat and still no change.

Tapentadol, Buprenorphine and side effects
I have sciatica and recently the pain clinic through that it was a good idea to put me on
Tapentadol
and wean me off my buprenorphine patch. I had some seriously annoying side effects to begin with anxiety, not being able to talk in coherent sentences, not remembering, and a whole lot of dribble.

Tapentadol now not enough?
I was started on 100mg of
tapentadol
per day, plus zapain x 8 and diclofenac 150mg per day. I now take the max dose of
tapentadol
(500mg per day) and it just isn't enough to relieve my pain. I just wondered if I am right in thinking that the next stronger med would be something morphine based?
