Whether to apply for pip again
Am on
tamoxifen
as because of my joint problem couldn't go on other one. Am so far cancer free - yeah, but always in the back of your mind. I was thinking of deploying but wondered if it would be worth putting myself through it. Would appreciate what people think. Thanks

Breast Cancer Cell arrive again for me after 13 years
When that was completed I was put on
Tamoxifen
for twelve years and at each visit with my Doctor I was told I was cancer free! Well it has been thirteen years now and I was just told two days ago that I have a Lesion on my right lung and right hip, both are cancer once again!

Petrodollars and change to Tamoxifen
However, have concerns on switching to
Tamoxifen
, due to being HER2+ and letrosol, being the precision meds best suited to give better results and outcomes for this type of cancer.

Did
tamoxifen
make your hair thin a lot? I’m in the 2nd year of taking it and I’ve really lost a lot of hair.

My story & place for others to share experiences!
Hi: Stage 1 in 2010-double mastectomy & failed to tolerate
Tamoxifen
(as I was going through menopause); but low oncotype score so took a chance. Diagnosed with Mets to Lymph and Lungs 11/2017. Currently on my 16th cycle Ibrance/letraziole; ct Scans every 3 mos.

Liver mets
Bilat mastectomy, 4 rounds of chemo then put on
Tamoxifen
. No scans recommended, just PE's & bldwork. Fall of '17 had sensitivity on my left upper sternum. Dr wrote it off as cartilage soreness. Finally in Feb '18 a lump appeared in that area. Rad, bone scan then finally a PET scan.

Tamoxifen - crazy mood swings - needing advice!
I've spoken to the nurses the RMH where I had treatment and they say I need to be on
Tamoxifen
for at least 10 years, though after 5 I might be able to change to Letrozole. I've been told that the brand of
Tamoxifen
can make a difference and am wondering if anyone can share their experiences.

Serous Low Grade Ovarian Carcinoma -treatment options
My oncologist had me try letrozole and
tamoxifen
but I couldn’t tolerate either. I’ve been researching integrative oncologist, Chinese medicine, and other holistic approaches. Has anyone had any success with a non-traditional approach? If you have, please let me know who or what you used.

I started in May of 2017. Take it at night. I also take Nupron injections so it’s hard to tell which drug is creating the symptoms. I have gained weight and my knee and ankle joints hurt a lot. I’ve started taking glucosamine for the joint pain and I have felt a slight improvement. The weight gain is

I’m about to start taking
Tamoxifen
, which I’m dreading, and wondered if any of you lovely ladies could share your experiences with this drug. How quickly did you start to experience side effects? What side effects did you have? How did you manage them?

New to Health Unlocked
I had a mastectomy, chemo, and five years each of
Tamoxifen
and Femara. Everything was fine until February 2018, when a biopsy of my underarm lymph nodes confirmed the recurrence and spread on the same side as before.

Reconstruction after implant infection.
That means that I won’t have to have any chemotherapy or radiotherapy but have to take
tamoxifen
for the next 5 years. Since the surgery I had problems with the implant and due to an infection I had to have the implant removed in an emergency operation.
