Sirolimus - mouth sores!
I’m not crazy about switching meds again (I can no longer take
tacrolimus
). Any thoughts/suggestions? (Sorry if this is a duplicate; I tried to post last night, but I’m not finding it.) TIA!

Tacrolimus and Memory Loss
I was reading on another transplant sharing group, Lyfebulb, regarding memory loss from
Tacrolimus
. There are a number of side effects related to this drug. I am three years post transplant and have found myself forgetful and having trouble recalling facts and names at will.

Tacrolimus?
Hi guys, Can anyone tell me if 14mg of
tacrolimus
everyday after 3 months post transplant is normal? I know from other consultants that I have slight rejection. I have 1 consultant who will not give me an answer to "what are my blood results".

VOLUNTEER EXPERT PATIENTS NEEDED - Moderate/Severe Lupus Nephritis for NICE Appraisal of Voclosporin
It is a calcineurin inhibitor (CNI) used as an immunosuppressant medication – this is the same family of drugs as ciclosporin and
tacrolimus
. As a key stakeholder, LUPUS UK will be contributing to each stage of the HTA.

Has anyone developed a circular rash?
Has anybody else experienced this while on
tacrolimus
, mycophenolic acid , prednisone ,carvedilol, nifedipine, rosavastatin , vitamins, hiprex and valtrex. I have been to a dermatologist and after 3 biopsies they said it was a drug reaction and not cancer.

Rejection and Covid 19
I missed 2 doses of
Tacrolimus
. My team would would like me at 8-10.5 ng/ml. I tested at <2.0ng/ml. I have alerted my team, taken every necessary step needed including medication adjustments from my TX. Has anyone here had a moderate rejection episode?

Testing Tacrolimus level?
Does a
tacrolimus
blood test reflect the most recent dose only, or the
tacrolimus
build-up over a period of time? For example, if I take 2
tacrolimus
pills at 8am, then take 1 pill the following 8pm, and get tested the next morning at 8am—will the test show my tacro level from 1 pill only?

A good description of a mis-folded Protein that causes PD
Live-cell microscopy revealed the highly dynamic nature of the αS inclusions: for example, their rapid clearance by certain known modulators of αS toxicity, including
tacrolimus
(FK506), isradipine, nilotinib, nortriptyline, and trifluoperazine.

Pfizer antiviral Covid-19 tablet “Paxlovid” a word of caution
Cyclosporine,
Tacrolimus
, Everolimus. Once again this is another quote: Ritonavir dosed as a pharmacokinetic enhancer or as an antiretroviral agent inhibits CYP3A4 and as a result is expected to increase the plasma concentrations of cyclosporine,
tacrolimus
or everolimus.

Missed immunosuppressant dose
I was blessed with a kidney transplant 2 months ago, and for the first time forgot to take one of my 12hr doses of
tacrolimus
and Myfortic last night. I took my meds as usual this morning however. I'm terrified of an acute rejection episode. What is the likelyhood of something bad happening?
