I have had my Liothyronine changed from 10mcg daily to having to take 10mcg one day, then 5mcg the next day .
I have no thyroid .I presently take 75 mcg Levo and 10mcg Liothyronine and have felt well on that dose (I have no symptoms that suggest I am over medicated) But my FT3 was 8.5 - because there was only about an hour between me taking my Thyroid medications and the clinic taking bloods for a Thyroid

Feeling lost! T4-T3 ratio > blood tests results > please advise!
Hello, Please advise! I’m feeling lost!! Last year I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and Hashimoto, on the path of trying to conceive for +4years . I started treatment with levothyroxine, which initially helped relieving symptoms (exhaustion, hair loss, weight gain, fertility issues), but now I'm

Blood test units different
For years my thyroid blood test results have used the same units so, Free T4 pmol/L range 12 - 22 Free T3 pmol/L range 3.1 - 6.8 I have just received results with different units, so they won't fit into my spreadsheet. Free T4 ng/dL range 0.93 - 1.71 Free

ANA test results
Hi, I’m reaching out in the hope someone is able to help me translate my ANA blood tests. I’ve had symptoms for over a year, predominantly fatigue/exhaustion, painful joints, mouth sores, feet that turn purple when cold (I also have a coeliac disease diagnosis from 2015). My results are back on

low cortisol
hello, I’ve repeatedly had lowish 9am cortisol (around 250ish mark) but passed SST. However, private endo has said he wants to trial a low dose of hydrocortisone to see if it helps my symptoms of chronic fatigue, headaches, muscle aches etc. etc. I’m nervous to trial a steroid when I don’t have Addison

Hashimoto’s (UK)
I am based in the UK. I have Hashimoto’s disease and take both T3 and T4. would someone please be kind enough to decipher my recent bloods? The results have caused my GP to interfere and reduce my T4 because my TSH isn’t registering. I am EXHAUSTED of having the same argument with them explaining

Update on Labs - What is Going On? :-)
Labs done ~7AM - 24 hours after T4 and 12 hours after T3, having stopped biotin 4 days prior. My endo has been good about letting me have needed T3 after being deficient for over a decade with other doctors. I am not sure what to make of the labs since she upped my T3 back in December. I started dosage

How long does a coeliacs blood test take to come back?
Exactly that! I had bloods done on Friday lunch time, including a FBC, B12, folate, and ferritin. Also Coeliac screen (TTG). All the others are back but not the coeliac screen yet. Is that usual?

Endo appointment and low TSH
Hi all, Please see my results below. My GP is making noise about my suppressed TSH but she's leaving it to my endo, who I have an appointment with on 18th June. They don't know that I take liothyronine as well as levo. I'm not sure whether to fess up or not just as a way to explain the suppressed TSH

should I start interferon?
I’d be grateful for any advice or guidance on starting Interferon for ET CalR mutation. I was diagnosed with ET approximately 12 years ago when I was 57. I took Hydroxycarbamide in increasing doses over an approximate 6 year period when the efficacy of the drug began to wane. I was then prescribed

Thyroid and cortisol results
Cortisol was just below range, which should trigger an endo referral for a
synacthen
/ACTH
test
, but not bad at all considering the saliva results. I'm curious about the albumin though, which is just scraping into range - does that mean anything?

Persistent cough and possible asthma diagnosis
Hello. I’m new here and keen to find out if other people with asthma have experienced the symptoms I have. I have had a persistent cough for about 4 months. Generally I feel a pressure in my chest and lower throat where it feels like a can’t breath. I then cough as this feels like it relieves the pressure

am I hypothyroid now?
Help please! I have posted these on facebook group for Graves and a few people came back saying that I’m severely hypothyroid and I should change my endo as this should have never got that low. (BTW I’m seeing a recommended Endo 🤦🏻♀️) what are your views? 17 April (I was then on 20mg Carbimazole

hashimoto thyroid and T3
I have recently been told by Endocrinologist to stop T3 due to palpitations and atrial fibrillation, to increase T4 to 75mcg. This had been reduced by hospital where I went after collapsing with atrial fibrillation. He says rely on that and lifestyle changes. I feel I have been doing that for the last

Update on Hyperthyroid depression
I have seen an endocrinologist who started me on carbimazole on May 22nd for hyperthyroidism, my levels at that time were TSH, T3 5.3 (3.1-6.8), I am wondering if the levels are dropping too quickly as I feel so depressed but anxious at the same time, very cold feeling inside, bad brain fog, my doctor

2nd endo appt PTU anxiety
hi, I was put on ptu about 6 weeks ago after my first hospital endo apt. 50mg twice a day. I’ve just been for thyroid bloods T4 (whenever I ask for my thyroid blood forms from my gp receptionist I get given different aspects it’s never the full range). So originally it was 34 (normal being 12-22) then

Can pernicious anaemia be caused by long term use of lansoprazole?
Hello everyone, I am a lady of 67. Ive been taking lansoprazole for years. Then I began to feel ill with various symptoms the doctor was not interested in or would virtually say I was a hypocondriac. I nagged and got sent to a consultant who said I had neurological problems caused by fibromylgia and
