5 courses of antibiotics
I can't get to see a GP (Uk) only been able to get an appointment with the
surgery
paramedic. I've just finished a week of Nitrofurantoin which settled the symptoms, but now 2 days later I feel pressure on my bladder and having to pass urine every hour.

Change in low grade diagnosis -to high grade ovarian carcino sarcoma?
I am 47 years old and am nearly 4 weeks post cyto-reductive
surgery
for stage 3C ovarian cancer - biopsy prior to
surgery
showed it was low grade serous ovarian cancer (lgsoc) and I had been getting my head round that diagnosis.

Colon cancer after CLL diagnosis
I will use this information in meetings with his GP (who's job it is to do the transfer to Bordeaux) and to his current Gastro, who will be proposing
surgery
and/or treatment once the liver CT results are in. With gratitude to you all.

If anyone has found anything that helps them or had
surgery
for this condition would be interested to hear. Feel like I’m just holding on, chronic pain just eats away at you slowly…

I have talked with a surgeon who can't guarantee me that he wouldn't have to do open
surgery
b/c the tumor seems attached to scar tissue which is attached to the lung wall. My radiation oncologist cautions about 'toxicity' from too much radiation.

CUT PRE-SURGERY - MURPHY'S LAW?
I was thinking they would postpone my
surgery
which is tomorrow morning. Immediately called surgical booking. Finally got the person to whom I was supposed to speak originally. She contacted the surgeon who said he was willing to still do the
surgery
, as long as it was not infected.

Swap from 4mg pred
Ironically I’ve since read that with such major
surgery
the doctor should have increased the pred dosage as a matter of course. I am apparently being booked in for SSTest at some point. At this stage I have no idea whether I should expect to have the hydrocortisone tapered as with prednisolone.

A return of the dreaded mongrel .......... ????? Part 2
Well, made contact with
surgery
( I was 10th in the queue ) couldn't talk to anyone ( GP or Pharmacist ). Left a message and a return phone call a few hours later told me to take 2 blood pressure readings am and pm. for the next 7 days. Excellent stalling practice !
