Workplace Accommodations
Hi all - my endo has caused me a few abscesses from work since my
surgery
. I’m lucky that my work are so understanding with it and they want to help me manage as best I can. I am due to have a meeting next week to see how they can help and what if any accommodations they can put in place for me.

Well I did a good one.
Surgery
on friday for a broken shoulder. Ouch. I was supposed to get 2 screws and a plate. I ended up getting 11 screws and a plate. The only good news about this, is it is my left side and I am right handed. 12 weeks of recovery and now I am afraid to walk outside.

endometriosis on uterine artery.
I had my second
surgery
yesterday. Surgeon removed a lot of endo but was unable to remove it from my uterine artery due to the risk of hysterectomy and we would like to have another baby at some point before I go down this route. I was just wondering if anyone else has this?

Be Encouraged

I was told I had DIE.After
surgery
I fell pregnant and 8 months after delivery had the Mirena coil. I've never been pain free since but as I'm now 47yrs and hormones are fluctuating I'm struggling again.

Today GP
surgery
has rung to say no infection in my urine but high levels of leukocyte (white blood cells), traces of blood and protein. I'm to only take 3 days of the antibiotics and take another urine sample in, in 10 days.

PSA slightly rose after 8 months undetectable
I am 57 and on ADT (Firmagon+Zytiga+Prednisone) after
surgery
in 2022 and 39 sessions of RT in 2023 (Jan Feb). Till now I has been undetectable but at November my bloodwork showed PSA risen to 0.04. Should I be concerned or could it be just random fluctuation? Thanks for your reactions.

The dark curtain
I'm keen to not be labeled by this and live a different but better life after I pass through the dark curtain of
surgery
. I'm trying top be positive and would like to help and be helped to make the most of what has happened. To learn from it and become whole, happy and at peace.

confused about treatment options
I’m feeling pressured into
surgery
- they’re using terms like “a potential cure,” which raises irrational hopes. But then they’ll probably have to do radiation anyway. I’m terrified about side effects (especially incontinence) associated with
surgery
. It come down to quality of life questions.
