I keep getting denied the CA-125 test!
OB/GYN said she thought it was a low chance for cancer and that waiting and watching would be ok because I really don't want to have
surgery
if I don't need it.

Bad dumping incident?
I’m over 5 months from three way Oesophageal
Surgery
. I was doing really well with eating and fitness levels. Then last Friday (after a Chinese takeaway which didn’t consist of more than some noodles and a bit of chicken) I became ill about 2 hours later.

Post Surgery Issues
Hi All, I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy in July and all healed well - very happy. Then the past few days the incision in my belly button has started hurting, I have a swollen belly and it feels like a UTI then I have some bleeding from my belly button and it has a red mark around it. It looks

Hubbys assessment and now me. (Menopause and liver???)
I can see that he wouldn’t cope with
surgery
at the mo so we are ok with the results. The reason for not posting sooner is because I’ve not been well.

Heart appointment today and after being blocked from this site it seems i have access to it again.
I am not worried about it as i just want this
surgery
done and dusted so i can get my life back. I have had a bad nights sleep and i am now tired so i will try and get some sleep before i go to the hospital. The next decision i have to make is what to wear when we go out.

Recent RLS Diagnosis
I developed RSL after recent arthroscopic knee
surgery
. From what I have read on this site the RSL started due to the emetic included in the anesthesia. I don't understand why the RSL was triggered at this particular time, and not previously with other surgeries when the emetic was requested.

Lymph Node Irradiation for a Potential Cure
I would like to know from those who have been cured if there is a possibility for a case like mine to have a plan of care that would involve irradiation of the lymph nodes and prostate
surgery
or proton radiation.

He's now waiting for Cytoreductive
Surgery
and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy in May so stress levels are also sky high. Does anyone else feel as though the cold is in your head as well as chest?

Talk Time Tuesday.
My doctors
surgery
annoyed me as I was told the week before to comeback if its not improving, I told the receptionist this and she apologised but next available appointment would be in 3 weeks. She said to me we have been instructed to send people to the hospitals.

Anxiety following acute health issue
I had emergency
surgery
to clear out a septic joint and ended up hospitalized for weeks. The pain was almost unbearable. Ever since the trauma, I have been bothered by "what if?" anxiety. What if my partner dies? What if I get another painful health issue? That kind of thing.

Why are things so grim?
…anyway I’m booked in for
surgery
in 2.5 weeks time and can’t come soon enough. Today I started my period with no notice. A complete gush. I’ve leaked twice. Wrecked two pairs of knickers. Two pairs of jeans are in the wash. And the blood is thick and almost black?

All agree that
surgery
is not an option. They say the treatment isn't much different, and are starting meds with 7 days of Bicalutamide, then a shot of Leuprolide every 6 months along with Abiraterone and Prednisone daily. Radiation IGBT to follow in 3 months.

Few hours to my OHS
Dear all, In about ten hours, I should be on my way to theatre to have my ASD closed via open heart
surgery
! Strange enough, I feel relatively calm and no tense as all my friends, family and some of my nurses are.
