Problem with NHS policy - again!
I am not looking forward to my holiday now because I am fearing I will be ill and it's all down to my GP
surgery
again. What the hell as this got to do with "do no harm"? I feel completely lost.

18 days post circumcism
Hi guysI had my circumcism
surgery
18 days ago. I think the healing proccess is very slow. The suture has not fall of yet. But there is no pain and sign of infection. I apply antibiotic cream every day. I concern how it will look like after it completly cures.

received text from my bp
surgery
to say my omeprazole has been stopped and I’ve been switched to lanzoprazole instead ? No idea why ? Maybe cost . Has this happened to anyone else ? Plus I’m now 5 weeks post stent and haven’t received cardiology follow up . Should I get this or is that it ?

Kidney function and hypothyroidism?
My
surgery
did more tests based on this - further urinalysis and kidney function blood test. It seems I have albuminuria - losing albumin through the kidneys. I did notice last year that a general blood test came back with serum albumin being at the lowest possible point.

Hubby had his bypass
Hubby is out of
surgery
after his quadruple bypass. They said it went well. He's on a ventilator obviously, and they're going to wake him up in an hour or so, and see if any tubes can be removed. Thank you all so much for your support. I'm going to visit tomorrow

Tumeric/circumin
She mentioned tumeric/circumin that some people find it very helpful and I asked if it was OK to take it. ( I'm also awaiting hip
surgery
in a few weeks) she was OK with that so have bought what is called clean circumin with no additives bulking agents.

Why does sitting up have to be such a pain post-op?! Is this normal or should I be concerned?
This is my first
surgery
and I was diagnosed with endo and had four incisions, with a heap of excisions, including from my bowel.

Hi All, I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy in July and all healed well - very happy. Then the past few days the incision in my belly button has started hurting, I have a swollen belly and it feels like a UTI then I have some bleeding from my belly button and it has a red mark around it. Bad dumping incident?
I’m over 5 months from three way Oesophageal
Surgery
. I was doing really well with eating and fitness levels. Then last Friday (after a Chinese takeaway which didn’t consist of more than some noodles and a bit of chicken) I became ill about 2 hours later.

I received a text from the GP
surgery
to advise that I should have blood tests TFT (TSH and FT4) and FBC every 6-8 weeks.

I keep getting denied the CA-125 test!
OB/GYN said she thought it was a low chance for cancer and that waiting and watching would be ok because I really don't want to have
surgery
if I don't need it.
