New to diagnosis but not to endometriosis…feeling a bit desperate!
Since then I have been in and out of the GP/nurse’s
surgery
trying to get someone to listen to me, especially since my caesarean 10 years ago. I’ve just been repeatedly told this is IBS + heavy periods. Finally, I had such a severe bleed/pain in February so was sent for a scan.

I'm sure it's important to note he was in retention and on a Foley for months before the
surgery
; his PT does say the muscles are weak but NOT DEAD!! Thanks in advance, Jeri and Steve

Preparing for Open Heart surgery
So last year I was diagnosed with a 2cm ASD and was awaiting
surgery
on the 5th January via catheter. To my shock I was called on the 3rd to be told there had been a mistake and they had realised I also had PAPVD and was now going to be having open heart
surgery

on holiday with afib episodes and still enjoying it.
I recently posted that I have been AFIB episode free for quite a few months now and gave all the credit to my GP
surgery
changing my asthma medication from ventolin to fostair. My breathing improved massively but at the same time my AFIB episodes and ectopics decreased massively too.

Money saving
Quite open about the fact that everyone in the
surgery
having B12 injections were being told the same. Looks like a cost saving exercise, wondering if it’s happening in all surgeries?

HoLEP Affect on Pca
I’m having HoLEP
surgery
. Wonder how this will impact the cancer. How will PSA respond? What happens if HoLEP actually removed the cancer?

Update New York
I went to Charlotte orthopedic and they said
surgery
would just make it worse. So they sent me to pain management.I have been through the wringer. Facet injections, epidural shots, physical therapy for over a year, toradol shots. I have tried all the medicines for pain.

Feeling doomed today
Then onto Tocilizumab in Feb but on and off it since for
surgery
and infections. Just had a steady 6 weeks on it and feeling the benefits but bloods have come back showing neutropenia and sky high cholesterol. BP has also risen over the time I’ve been taking it.

I was offered, because I am now 70, a health check by the local
surgery
and asked for ESR and CRP to be checked too. They are good but my total cholesterol was 6 and my risk factor of stroke/heart probs given as 13.5%.

Prednisolone/PMR - Hysteroscopy
All went well, except for pain after the procedure, pain probably related to scarring from previous
surgery
in that area. On 6 mg pred atm. I didn't take extra pred. The hospital were fairly relaxed about it and I have been fine so far with other minor procedures while I have been on pred.

Dry eye following Trabeculectomy
I have used regular lubricating drops as I have had the same
surgery
in my left eye that was complicated by uveitis. I have tried a variety of lubricating drops & eventually Theoloz gel was recommended & worked well, however, it has been out of stock. Can anyone recommend a good lubricant?

Brown discharge after lap/excision and Mirena coil
During
surgery
I had a lot of endometriosis across different areas which was all removed. I also had the mirena coil fitted. I was just looking for some advice/reassurance. I had some spotting after the
surgery
for a few days and then had what I assume was a period about a week later.

Tigger is bouncing around Winnie the Pooh, because he is happy his RLS is better
Well I spoke to the Pharmacist who shares the same building as the doctors and asked if she ever dispenses Buprenorphine Patches prescribed by doctors at the
surgery
and she replied that she does and couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t prescribe for me.
