Mirena coil with
surgery
has been a lifesaver for me. But it was not an easy ride. Had coil fitted 6 months before
surgery
and a year after I still, at times wanted to rip it out because of pain.

Prayers needed. Again. Or still.
And then after that, oh well she needs another test and another one and he's considering
surgery
but maybe not. They scheduled her to begun cancer drugs a while back and then postponed it. I don't even remember how long it's been, but I'm beyond angry at his carelessness.

Did your ectopics die out after your ablation?
So, shortening a long story, AFib from age 40, successful ablation (PVI + flutter + mitral line) at age 48, 15 good years then an aortic dissection at age 63, the long OHS
surgery
for which put me back in Fib. Sinus for 5-1/2 years on Amiodarone but it was slowly weakening me, plus bad ectos.

Step 2 - mpMRI done, results not good, I'm scared now
I am also investigating Mayo Clinic in Rochester because I know they do a lot more prostate
surgery
and do mostly transperineal biopsies. And so I'm leaving this note here to generate a little discussion.

Shocking blood test result variation: NHS Vs Private UKAS laboratory 😳
Having my follow-up appointment with private endocrinologist next week so had blood tests at the GP
surgery
but also decided to have private blood tests at a clinic near me. I've been using this same private clinic and having occasional NHS tests over the last year.

Update on tests etc
Started the Trimbow 167/5/9 this morning (
surgery
took weeks to issue the prescription!), so early days, but it has made me extremely dizzy ( never had that issue with Relvar & Incruse) and all 'on edge' so hope that doesn't keep happening! Time for my saline nebs now. We plod on! Xxx

I know I’m asking on the wrong page maybe….
Unfortunately it showed that the pins & needles in his arm proves to be cervical stenosis & he’s been advised that
surgery
will be his best option.

Recurrent meningitis
I've had 2 cases of meningitis, and both were before the first
surgery
. The most recent
surgery
, which was a craniotomy, was just 1.5 years ago, and I suspect that there is still the occasional drop pf csf and therefore I'm at risk of meningitis... again.

Endo/ibs/perimeno/which one!?
Was told I could have
surgery
but I declined for now as pain not horrendous. The pain isn’t linked to my cycle either but I do get full pelvis pain when on period and aching arse/vagina and shooty butt pains. Sometimes I bleed after sex but not often. (I haven’t had kids btw!)

Follow-up with haematologist
I see him for a follow-up in November after another
surgery
blood test beforehand. He won't report my confession back to primary care. It's our secret.

Hi, cortisol blood test advice please
Endo I believe is giving me an overall check before possible T3 trial (if nothing obviously is a miss) provided my
surgery
funds it😳 Thanks in advance.

Ignorance of some GPs...a cautionary tale...
Yesterday I went to my
surgery
to collect next lot of pred and was told I needed a dr's review. I have never been refused pred before in 8 years. I insisted on a Tel appointment and said it was Urgent. A Dr phoned me later and said "do you take pred for your chest?"....Pardon?

Period flu?
I underwent excision
surgery
for stage 3 endo in November, however more recently the pain is worsening again but right now that’s not the worst symptom- the last 3/4 months, either during or instantly after my period I’m hit with the WORST flu/cold I’ve ever experienced.

blood test results help please
(180-640) Serum ferritin. 97ug/L 28-200 Serum folate 7.5ug/L. 3.0-20-0 The reason I’m asking if these levels are ok is because I have an appointment tomorrow with a doctor I’ve never seen at my
surgery
who apparently listens to you and tries to help. Fingers crossed.

MRI shows pedunculated fibroid and what they think is an endometrioma on my ovary. Is this problematic or require surgery?
So it sounds like
surgery
could be an option, but I have never had any kind of pain associated with it. Is it something that COULD potentially be cancerous or turn into cancer, especially with me being post-menopausal? Are there other treatments for it?

update husband : second surgery
Hi My husband is still in on opus after a TBI. He has been responding to pain but today starting responding abnormally. They took him for a brain scan and found fluid (not sure if blood or csf) and now want to take him to theatre again and do a procedure to alleviate the pressure. This will hopefully
