post-surgery pain
I had a full hysterectomy and debulking
surgery
last Thursday, so 5 days ago. I have a large incision from about 8 cm above my tummy button to my knicker line. I am experiencing a lot of pain around the incision which feels like burning - I wonder if it is perhaps nerve pain.

I recall reading about valves installed by
surgery
. Anybody been where I am now? I’ll see my urologist in a few weeks. Thought it might be worth discussing. In for a penny, in for a pound. Thanks, as always.

Tips for dealing with GP
I contacted my
surgery
only to be told as usual, there were no appointments but a doctor did issue antibiotics and steroid nasal spray. A week went by and I contacted the
surgery
again as I still had a fever and, by now, I had developed a really aggressive cough.

18F-flotufolastat PET alters treatment approach for nearly 90% of patients with recurrent prostate cancer
"18F-flotufolastat is approved by the FDA for use in patients with suspected prostate cancer metastasis who are potentially curable by definitive
surgery
or radiation, and patients with suspected prostate cancer recurrence based on elevated PSA levels."

Now been advised cancer has spread to both lungs 😔
I am getting some pain in my lung area and it's really worrying me 😔
Surgery
is still going ahead although my tumour has only shrunk slightly. 3 more chemos will follow. Has anyone else had spreading to the lungs & gone into remission eventually?

Tried to get onto Wikipedia where I thought my longevity as happened here get people who have had bypass
surgery
to look ahead with more confidence. However they said no because of self interest, how else do they get their stories in some cases?

I have lost all hope now!
Latest problems started about 4 years ago when GP told me my problems were’all in my head’ and as far as the
surgery
goes that’s me labeled.

Help I can’t take this anymore
I don’t know how much more I can take until they actually complete the
surgery
to give me a diagnosis and see what stage it is at before it’s too late.

Please help us decide on next treatment
We met today with radiologist and oncologist and we were given 3 options: SBRT to the active parts of the prostate and the rib, HDR Brachytherapy to prostate and SBRT to rib or Prostatectomy
surgery
of prostate and SBRT to the rib. Please, please help us decide what treatment is best.

Had enough - NHS and severe pain
My wonderful GP (I know, rare) wrote a letter to the consultant asking her to expedite my
surgery
because of how poorly I've been and how badly this is affecting my life (my mum and I were both sobbing for the whole appointment and the poor GP didn't know what to do bless her😅).

Removal or not of ovaries
The ovaries are kissing and described as 'right hand side tubo-ovarian endometriotic complex extends in to the POD measuring maximally 73mm and left ovary contains numerous endometriomas measuring up to 27mm' This will be my first
surgery
and he has suggested - removal of endo, undo-ing adhesions
