After initial
surgery
and chemo she was in remission for 5 years but unfortunately the beast returned in 2021 and since then she has been under constant treatment. Her last scan a few months back showed progression with mets on the liver growing in size.

Small amount of ascites on scan
Received 3 rounds chemo then debulking
surgery
followed by 3 more rounds of chemo. I have had 3 CT scans through June all showed NED even though CA 125 was rising. This latest scan showed no tumors but a very small amount of ascites. My oncologist believes cancer is recurring.

Husband's strange mark
I called the
surgery
and requested a call back rather than sitting for an hr to speak to them, When they called back around 3 hrs later, they booked to see a nurse stating only a nurse sees patient's with suspect skin issues.

Some experiences on cardiac symptoms
No
surgery
on the cards. About three months ago I was shopping when I experienced a severe pain in my upper back and left arm. My arm felt heavy and I had to put some of my shopping down. It lasted only about 2 minutes and disappeared just as quickly as it started.

Thank you
I just knew I had prostrate cancer and needed to make a decision -
surgery
or radiation. I stumbled through this process by reading your inputs on this forum.

Out of the blue fast falling platelets. CLL and ITP since long. By pass surgery of heart one year ago.
In January one year ago, two of my clogged arteries in heart had a by pass
surgery
. Survived serious complications. Slow heart rehabilitation. Was looking forward to a new spring! Thought I was mainly a heart patient. Now sudden fall of platelets.

Salvage options?
Hello again, I have a few more questions, to help my husband decide between
surgery
and brachyboost. For context, he is localized Gleason 9. (1) Is the course of salvage radiation after RP typically the same as it would have been if the initial treatment had been radiation therapy?

Should I stop aspirin before non cardiac surgery.
I am due to have
surgery
for a hernia next month and have had conflicting information as to stopping the aspirin on the run up to
surgery
. Has anybody else on here had to go for a non cardiac operation following their heart attack and what did you do regarding aspirin?

Leave pelvic abscess and monitor?
Hi all, At gynecology appointment today the doctor said I could opt for
surgery
to remove abscess in fallopian tubes )and possible one ovary ) or I could leave for six months and just monitor how I get on , as I'm not in pain all the time.

Prostectamy
I've been taking Cialis 5mg every day since
surgery
. No matter how I try, I just can't get any type of erection, or have a dry orgasm. It even hurts my penis inside when I try to wank. I'm starting to feel quite horny again, but so upset set I can't masturbate at all.

Low heart rate
My husband would like to speak to a cardiologist but he’s never been under the U.K. system as he was living in Canada at the time of
surgery
. Can anyone recommend the best way forward? Sorry for the lengthy post.

A clearer picture
I asked questions about treatment and
surgery
but the surgeon said she wanted to see all test results before answering I feel better informed and know that
surgery
could happen mid/late February. And so the journey goes on! 💪💪💪💕💕💕

Is it possible to get back to Platinum based chemo?
After debulking
surgery
and many treatments, her cancer was declared platinum-resistant. Following this, she received 6 rounds of Doxorubicin + Bevacizumab, which kept her stable.

surgery
, just 2 valves to be sorted! Yaaayy!! Downside - the cheese sandwich was rubbish.
