Cholesterol prevention Lequio Inqlisiran offered by GP
Few weeks ago, after my last blood test, I have received a letter from my GP
surgery
that my cholesterol level was slightly raised (I have diabetes type 2, which so far has been successfully controlled for years, by healthy diet).

Five weeks post Op
I am aiming to go back to work in May which will be roughly twelve weeks after
surgery
and back to some normality, I have decided to drop a day at work when I return so will only be doing four days instead of five.

I stopped Prostap, started the mini pill but I keep bleeding.
Tethered to my bowl, colon and bladder and i am now awaiting
surgery
. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had issues with bleeding after coming off Prostap? I had the Prostap injection for one month, alongside Tibolone. It really affected me and so I decided not to continue.

Can diet cause SIBO?
Not celiac or diabetes, no previous
surgery
, no history of PPIs. I read that stress can cause SIBO? That could certainly explain the first diagnosis, but the previous year has not been particularly stressful, so I don't think it could explain SIBO coming back.

I’ve been recommended it for stage 4 endo,
surgery
is 2+ years waiting list. I don’t react too well to hormones, but I’m at a point where it can’t be worse. I’ve also seen posts about dienogest, I took progesterone years ago and didn’t take well to it at all, is it the same as dienogest?

Then may need
surgery
to correct . Has anyone had this procedure and scan . Feel anxious about this . And surprised at the diagnosis.

Retzius Sparing surgeon recommendations
If I go for
surgery
I want to get Retzius sparing version to help with incontinence and hopefully shorten erectile problem. Here’s a problem I don’t know anyone who does this type of robotic
surgery
in Charlotte NC. Is there someone really good around NC, maybe Duke?

Vision deterioration
I now have high OP and this is controlled by Cosopt Preservstive Free drops…. this all came about after having the laser
surgery
for narrow angles and since then my eye pressure has been high.

Workplace Accommodations
Hi all - my endo has caused me a few abscesses from work since my
surgery
. I’m lucky that my work are so understanding with it and they want to help me manage as best I can. I am due to have a meeting next week to see how they can help and what if any accommodations they can put in place for me.

A big unknown
So it wasn't
surgery
that triggered it for me but I've never been able to get a straight answer as to whether Covid and/or booster caused it.

advice sought
I’m on APIXABAN with no effects, however my GP
surgery
(the pharmacist) has suggested I take a STATIN (Atorvastatin) because of slightly high cholesterol (5.11).

A return of the dreaded mongrel .......... ????? Part 2
Well, made contact with
surgery
( I was 10th in the queue ) couldn't talk to anyone ( GP or Pharmacist ). Left a message and a return phone call a few hours later told me to take 2 blood pressure readings am and pm. for the next 7 days. Excellent stalling practice !

My orthopaedic consultant says further
surgery
is out of the question, he’s referred me to a pain specialist and a physiotherapist who has fitted me for a lumbar brace. I use a variety of wheels and/or sticks to help me mobilise!

Sorted with natural thyroid medication ..but!! 🫡
Unfortunately it took the
surgery
over 13 months or so to actually do something and she was referred to Newcastle hospital where she eventually got the awful diagnosis.

I had Moh’s
surgery
because they had to take a few layers until all was clear under the microscope. This was June 13th. Went back 2 weeks later to get the stitches out. A couple weeks after that, I noticed a little white thing stickup out of the suture line. Well, I had to see the surgical nurse.

Ivor Lewis procedure and complications
Pneumothorax in both lungs complicated the
surgery
, alongside two added dvts, meant I had to go on blood thinners. I was then transferred onto a critical ward on the 13 June, constantly coughing and regurgitating. Being very unlucky, I am now trialling a new drug.

Alimta - Fevers
After initial
surgery
and chemo she was in remission for 5 years but unfortunately the beast returned in 2021 and since then she has been under constant treatment. Her last scan a few months back showed progression with mets on the liver growing in size.
