Intravenous Iron, oxidative stress and vitamin E and selenium
I have been reading about the possibility that some people may experience oxidative
stress
with intravenous iron therapy. I thought this article was interesting as it states that vitamin E and selenium are powerful antioxidants that can somewhat mitigate this problem.

in a pit I can’t get out of.
And the
stress
of thinking about it makes m3 worse. My friends are maybe offended as when I got in touch via text they didn’t respond. I understand if that is the case. No one can depend on me. How do I break the cycle? Medication doesn’t work, nor did counselling.

But I'm worried about the need to stop alcohol - I am under so much
stress
(caring for my 90 year old mother) and I do like more than two glasses a week. Plus some of the other side effects are scary.

🍁🍁🍁September Quest week 2: leaf your troubles behind and embrace a new season! 🍁🍁🍁
This week will be all about getting ready for Sunday and that means eating as well as possible, sleeping as well as possible and avoiding as much

Hello after a forced absence.
LOL My problem is, I know that
stress
brought this on once I diagnosed the problem (and doc agreed) and then did a ton of research, and also joined this group. I don't know what I would have done without it.

Can MRI cause a flare?
Lying on the scanner bed with my knees supported hasn’t helped but I wondered if the magnetic field in the scanner has affected my PMR or is it just the
stress
and early hours appointment?

Flecainide Worries
My cardiologist has scheduled a
stress
test to check for CAD before I go on the Flecainide. He has also informed me if I do not follow his orders that he will not be able to treat me and I will have to look for another doctor. I am so stressed out right now and don’t know what to do.

Straight Up Stress
Trying to find tips to help curb anxiety and
stress
that sometimes seem to come out of the blue. My pulse rate goes up and down like a yoyo at times and when my ear starts ringing I know my blood pressure is going up.

Colon cancer symptoms but ended up being intestinal parasites.
My dad told me before he died " son, a lot of this stuff is mind over matter" If you
stress
about it, you just feeding it and it's going to spread.......

the Duloxetine has had minimal affect still waking in the night with sore legs/knees glutes are aching like mad and shoulders this can’t be just
stress
Can an endocrinologist who suggested PMR actually diagnose it without a ERS test! Thank you for your time again reading this

will you be the same again
You may be the same again. You will recover but you will always some type of setback and post PTSD. Hopefully you don’t not everyone does. Lots of luck to you.

What if it is something else?
The added
stress
of the burden I am to the team or the potential to lose my job is definitely not helping.

Ablation or not? I really don't know what to do
caught out somewhere having a huge afib episode, EPs want me to have an ablation, I am so confused, I don't know what to do...I have had maybe three episodes of afib after migraine and vomiting, with or without alcohol in the picture, migraines seem to happen on an electrolyte imbalance or physical

positive fit test
My bowel movements have gone back to normal in fact the best in a long time , I sometimes wish I hadn’t have done the fit test now because the
stress
this is causing me is unbearable, I don’t drink or smoke stay active and eat healthy, there’s no BC in my family .

Bank Holiday fun (not!)
My body seems to have finally cast a vote about how it feels about that
stress
, with the racing heart (albeit thankfully no signs of erratic beats per the ECG) and elevated blood pressure.

Is this a flare shouldI up the pred?
However I have a lot of
stress
just now, darling husband has cancer. I do meditate and do very gentle yoga. However, I now have pain in my upper back under my shoulder blades. Could this be PMR? My legs have increasingly felt like concrete until 3pm. I take my 2mgs pred at 9am.

More potential POP problems...
I know I'm meant to give in at least three months to settle down, and I probably will, but honestly, if it's going to give me random breast lumps that scare the sh*t out of me and cause this much
stress
, I'd rather go back to dealing with super painful periods once a month.
