getting diagnosed with Adhd at age 32
I just hope this is the right prescription, I'm starting with
Strattera
which is a non-stimulant I just hope it makes me feel good. Any advice, suggestions? Thanks for reading!

Atomoxetine (Strattera) shortage
My pharmacy here in New Zealand has no supply for the last several weeks. Do we have any idea if there is an issue with supply? Any supply issues elsewhere?

Can I Reduce The Symptoms of ADHD Taking These Supplements?
Because of that, I am afraid of using
Strattera
and ADHD medications in general. I thought that maybe I can reduce the symptoms without side effects using supplements.

What Strattera dose worked for you and what changes did you notice?
Sometimes I thought
Strattera
might be helping a little but then the thing I noticed improvement in didn't last... so maybe it wasn't the

Depression and ADHD
Anyone on
strattera
and an SSRI? Was wondering if wellbutrin is better. Also wondering if guanfacine helps with impulse and is well tolerated. Lastly, has anyone done ECT for depression? Sometimes I think that is a last resort.

Any experience having a child on 2 different non stimulants (for example Strattera and Guanfacine) and how it controls ADHD
I am sure I have seen somewhere in this forum one of the parents saying that they have their child successfully treated with 2 non stimulants at the same time- Atomoxetine and Guanfacine given daily but I think different times of day. Please can partners who’s children are successfully on such combos

Just wondering if anyone has taken
Strattera
for ADHD. My psychiatrist just put me on it starting at 40mg and said it should take up to 3 weeks to take effect . Dosage will go up .

Oh! Me too...ugh
I'm struggling to accept how my brain differences are impacting my life, but I've started a medication regimen recently (
Strattera
) and I'm hoping the next few weeks will be marked by significant improvement. (I'm supposed to be working as I type this lol).

strattera guanfacine - would you add a stimulant??
Curious if anyone’s kid takes
strattera
, guanfacine, AND a stimulant? We see our psychiatrist who we love tomorrow so we will ask - but I’m curious… My son is 12 - 6th grade, 5’6” 117lbs and is finally on therapeutic dose of
strattera
60mg.

My 9 Year old has Adhd and on autism Spectrum.
We are giving her Adhd medication
strattera
10mg, I think its causing her to scream a lot and depression, her doctor is insisting to increase the dosage to 20mg. I think it will cause her more depression and anxiety. I dont know whether to increase her dosage or change the pill all together.

Adderall versus Strattera?
Hi. Our eleven year old boy, who has ADHD and dyslexia, has done pretty well on 5 mg of Adderall daily. His focus has improved significantly, and he's less hyperactive. But his loss of appetite is serious enough that, at our doctor's recommendation, we're considering Straterra. The research suggests

concerta to xaggitin experience
Hi all, I have been diagnosed with ADHD, and I was initially on
Strattera
, but I didn’t feel it was doing all that much for me. It was a little effective, but nowhere near what I need.

Looking for medication advice for ADHD-inattentive type and anxiety
In the past, I tried Concerta and
Strattera
and both made me feel really jittery, sick and dizzy. A nurse practitioner prescribed me Adderall recently but after reading about it some, I am afraid to take it. Any advice about this would be helpful.

Strattera question
If anyone has experience with
Strattera
and side effects or experiences I should watch out for I'd be interested to know what to expect. This is new to me. Thanks in advance!

Feeling helpless & hopeless
Tried non-stimulant medication, didn't work, and made my ADHD and the associated depression worse, despite it being an anti-depressant treatment (
Strattera
/Atomoxatine). Went to adderall, seems to have a minimal effect.

New To The Community - The Start to My Journey
He first started me on Wellbutrin, which I had an allergic reaction to, and then
Strattera
which made me extremely irritable and I told my doctor it relieved symptoms of my anxiety, but I didn't find that it helped much in other areas.

Need someone Knowledgeable in adhd medications
Strattera
- took to stop tic from clonodine. Took one pill, was like a wound up monkey. Couldn't even stay in school that day. So I stopped that. All these meds no appetite, lost weight, bad constipation . Concerta was the last one tried and helped the most with symptoms.
