Radiotherapy for OC in lymph nodes
Hello ladies. I wonder if those on here in England, who have had radiotherapy, could please tell me which hospital trust you had the treatment under. My oncologist still says they don't use radiotherapy, though I know many of you have had it. I'm on my fourth recurrence and currently on weekly taxol

Maintenance Chemo
I was diagnosed with stage 2 endometrioid cancer five years ago. I went through chemo treatments: carboplatin and taxol. I even had IP belly washes of taxol. They are not doing these any longer in the US. Sadly, my cancer reoccurred six months ago. I was cancer free and in remission for five years. The

Sotalol - Brutal Side Effects
Hi, I thought I would share my Sotalol experience as it took me a while to figure out this was the problem "For Me"... You can see my story in my profile... But to keep it short... I was put on 120mg Sotalol 2x per day from 5mg Bisoprolol 1x per day in October 2023 after going back into AFIB and getting

Neuropathy worse after covid jab, anyone?
After my recent ninth Covid jab (second time with Moderna), I found I had reactions (have always had none before, lucky me). First I developed the grandly named"Covid arm" which was nothing much, just a faint, occasional itch around the jab area which disappeared after a week. Then, for about a week

Hair loss on taxol
Yesterday I finally got my first Taxol infusion! Everyone at the cancer center was kind and helpful. The nurse I was assigned to was a young man, the only man I saw working there at all. He was great at explaining everything. I was "pre-treated" with hydro-cortisone and benedryl. I've had so much

Rough few days
This past week has been hard on me. Thursday I was scheduled for the last of 5 radiation treatments to my lower back, and to begin Taxol treatments, at two different cancer centers. My blood pressure was so low, I was sent to an "urgent care" center and then from there by ambulance to the ER. All

too old for ablation?
My mom (81) has had bradycardia and afib for decades. About 5 years ago, she got a pacemaker and was put on sotalol & Metropolol, which controlled things well for a while. Recently, she’s been having more frequent episodes of afib (lasting a week or so at a time). Her Dr suggested an ablation, but

I was diagnosed high grade stage 3c peritoneal in Autumn 2021, I have had carbo/taxol/avastin, debulking surgery. Followed by avastin alone which did not work, then carbo/caelyx which worked very well. I have had just over a year on Niraparib but sadly it is no longer working. I am due to start

Good morning beautiful ladies 😀 This week I started my Taxol and Herceptin cocktail. Being my cancer mutated from HER2 low to HER2 positive with progression to liver this seems like the most head on approach. This is certainly a drastic change from what I was experiencing on Ibrance and Letrozole

Rads to spine scheduled
I had an appt at the Rad Center (over 50 miles away) this morning. I don't remember what it's called, but it was for a scan to set things up for radiation for the pain in my lower back. So now I start weekly Taxol IVs at the cancer center on Wed. and have radiation this Thursday and Friday and then

I’m still here!
It is 8 years today since I was told I had Epithelial Ovarian Cancer 2C. I had a full Hysterectomy and 6 Carbo/Taxol chemos. I do have some numbness and peripheral nerve pain from the chemo but No other treatment! I have been able to enjoy many things, seeing my grandchildren grow, look after my elderly

Stopping Sotolol after ablation - fast HR and breathless
Hello, I am an ablation for Paroxysmal AFib and Flutter on 11th July. All went well. As well as AFib I used to get long periods ( a week or more) of other arrhythmia -PACs, SVTs, PVCs. They told me the ablation might not help stop these. During the 3 month blanking period, had some days of chest
