Unstable, uncontrolled asthma and been on every possible inhaler, I'm on xolair also. ANY ONE ON THEOPHYLLINE??
I've been on every inhaler on the market, added into this was
spiriva
- stopped as pressure behind my eyes and they added Seebri which I don't really take as it makes me cough continually.

Problems with corticosteroid inhalers
I was initially prescribed
Spiriva
, but found it made me very tired and dizzy; I'm now on my third corticosteroid inhaler, but concerned about the poor sleep it gives me and the fact that it seems to exacerbate my symptoms after a few days. It might help me (and my doctor!)

Another Newbie
I am currently on
Spiriva
capsules with Ventalin as required, which controls the coughing spasms which are always non productive but nothing seems to relieve the SOB on the slightest of activity. Spirometry test results they tell me fall within normal parameters but my lung age is 87!!

Lung Volume Reduction using Pulmonary Valves. (Revisited)
After a spell in hospital about two years ago, I realised that
Spiriva
(Tiotropium Bromide, a 24hour controlled release drug), wasn't giving me the supposed 24 hour cover. In fact, I doubt I was even getting 16 hours.

Asthma not under control
Current meds are seretide 250,
spiriva
and zafurlukast. Have had a chest X-ray, that was clear. I have got a referral to a chest specialist but not till the end of Nov. I just feel my life is on hold as I can't do any physical activity without having a coughing fit.

COPD exacerbation
Doctor changed my meds last week to Levafloxacin for the infection plus
Spiriva
and Fostair inhalers (previously on Salbutamol and Symbicort). Thing is I had expected chest to get better but 5 days later I feel same or even worse and have had hallucinations.

problem at this time is the mucus in her lungs...she spends so much time trying to expel this junk that it leaves her so tired and out of breathe ...any suggestions on what we could try that would at least eliminate some of this mucus...she uses albuteral and budesonide on the nebulizer along with

AFIB and Spiriva
He gave me a prescription for a
Spiriva
inhaler, but I'm scared to death to use it because I'm afraid it might put me back in AFIB. He said it might, but that the strain I'm putting on my heart because I can't catch my breath might do damage too.

Hello
Now for the past I don't know how many years, I've been on ProAir HFA, Flovent, Foradil, and
spiriva
. It worked great. But foradil went bye-bye. So I just went to a new lung dr. and now things are not good!

Inhalers like Ventolin?
Spiriva
, Aclidinium and Bricanyl. The only inhaler I can use is Ventolin. Is there anything of a similar but stronger version on the market. May thanks Steve

COPD and Depression
I struggle so hard to get to work every day,
spiriva
and ventolin just about gets me up the road, I work almost full time and I still can't afford to feed my family!!! My rent takes 65% of my salary, Council Tax another 15% and I can just make the bills .
