There is a good chance that the organic forms of Selenium--the form of selenium used in the SELECT study was l-selenomethionine at a dose of 200 mcg-- may not have been enough but also a form that some research studies indicate may be inferior to the in-organic form,
Sodium
Selenite.

5 Safe Ways to lower blood pressure and support your Thyroid by Tom Brimeyer founder of Forefront Health.
When elevated, aldosterone works to re-absorb and retain
sodium
while wasting potassium in the process. This loss of potassium actually causes your arteries to constrict, increasing your blood pressure.

Anyone have docetaxel and radiation together?
Hes very sick had a blood transfusion, low iron, low
sodium
. I was wondering if anyone had a similar reaction? I was looking online and it said the two can interact. The doctor never mentioned this to us.

T3 replaced by Liothyronine sodium
I was finally given a telephone consultation with a doctor who prescribed my T3 but I have been switched from the natural T3 to Liothyronine
Sodium
, which does not feel the same. I am currently waiting for an appointment to get referred to an endocrinologist.

Risodronate Sodium
She gave me a prescription for Risodronate
Sodium
saying that it is less likely to have the nasty side effects of the Allendronic Acid. I do wonder about this as the instructions for taking it are just as scary. Has anybody else taken Risodronate
Sodium
.

TURP scheduled tomorrow - concerns
Hi everyone, have this op planned for Monday in UK and wondering if it will help me. I can pee about 50% flow these days and the main reason they want to do it is to get a tissue sample for the Royal Marsden so they can genetically sequence the disease and see if I qualify for any drug trials (no biopsy

Addison disease and thorough testing query?
If Addison’s disease is suspected, blood tests will be carried out to measure the levels of
sodium
, potassium and cortisol in your body. A low
sodium
, high potassium or low cortisol level may indicate Addison’s disease.

Caelyx made me sick?
Hi all hope you guys are well. Just a lil update...so 3rd session of Caelyx and made me extremely ill. Been suffering 8 days now with vomitting diorreah and severe fatigue . Stomach pains have been like red hot poker's too...Marsden and GP think could be side effects or viral gastroentoritus, given Imodium

AKM Shamsuddin, MD, Ph.D. (Univ. of MD Medical School) invests decades in cancer research and gets results
In 2015, three years after I was dx with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer (two pelvic bone mets, PSA 19, G8), I discovered Dr. Shamsuddin's book "IP6 and Inositol" in my search for anticancer natural supplements. IP6 is a molecule found in every cell of our body. It occurs naturally in many sources

Liver cirrhosis and falling sodium levels
However her
sodium
levels are falling. My sister tells me mom is crying because of the pain. Can anybody tell me as to what I should expect? What should I do? Is it better to relieve her of her pain. Take her home? I'm afraid she won't have any chance of survival if we do that.

Possibly hypo - diarrhoea and day long nausea
Hi there. I’ve hashi and coeliac (on road to recovery I believe from recent biopsy). But have diarrhoea most mornings (I’m certain not from gluten) and last few weeks feel truly dreadful - constant nausea from waking til late afternoon, only relieved by eating. Sweet things particularly have an instant

Newbie here!!
Hi, completely new to all this!! So, i was diagnosed with ibs just over a year ago. Main symptoms were constant bloating and constipation although sometimes that can alternate with diarrhoea. They think it was originally triggered by a dodgy sauce from a restaurant which made me ill after eating it.
