Point of Interest
However, for thoroughness and making no assumptions, there was one labelled
Sodium
. I have never had that tested before. Learning to be wary of ranges from the forum I thought the result looked a bit on the high side at 140 (133-146) bang in the middle of the range. NORMAL?

Knowing when to increase sodium picosulfate dose?
Hi, my son is currently on 3 sachets of movicol and 3ml of
sodium
picosulfate. I’m now confident knowing when I need to alter his movicol dosage but I’m not sure about the pico dose.

3B and falling fast
On a low creatinine diet, low
sodium
diet for past 3 years. Nothing I do seems to make a bit of difference. If MGRS ends up being the cause that would make more sense

Natural T4 vs synthetic T4
Just wondering if she might be able to tolerate Armour or other NDT, eg. because the natural thyroxine is bound to a transport protein whereas the synthetic form is a
sodium
salt? Or maybe it's just that she's not a very good converter of T4 (whether natural or synthetic) to T3. Thoughts anyone.

Complicated with NASH, looking for next step
Yesterday, I saw Nephro for very low
sodium
(126- norm 135) /low calcium - a very extensive & good visit - labs/history /exam - diagnosed with red hands, clubbed toes/some fingers (showed 3 Dr's & none knew what they were), hyponatremia/hypocalcemia.

Input please
I mention the low
sodium
because I have also had excessive urination (not a UTI) which I think may be part of the low
sodium
problem. I do not have Diabetes, and my B12, Ferritin, D3 and other B's are all good.

Don't know What's happening to me!!
Went to Docs, Friday morning, Low
sodium
apparently, that was a relief actually, I thought I had cancer or something. Reduced my BP meds, as it was 127/60, sat down and 120/56 stood up. No wonder I was dizzy and confused.

Time to come off Ropinerole 4 years after being on Pramepexole 7 years. What else can I try????
Magnesium,
sodium
, potassium, chloride all within range. White blood cell count within range. What other tests can a doctor do? Is it worth having bloods done again 6 months after last results? Or something else I'm missing? Any help is appreciated.

Anti seizure tablets after brain haemorage
The
Sodium
Valporate anti seizure tablets she is taking now have really knocked her off her feet and she has difficulty standing up. She is changing to lacosamide in the hope that it will have less side effects. Does anyone have experience of lacosamide?

Adalimumab serious side effects, any advice?
Sodium
levels had gone very low which could lead to a coma. I’m now taking SIS electrolytes to try and raise them with more blood tests next Tuesday. I have been advised to go straight to hospital if necessary.

GP’s and meds (Losartan and Lercanadipine) !!
The nurse said all the readings were fine, but then she started to go right back through my records and she found that my
sodium
level had always fluctuated over the last 3 years and has only once been in the normal range!

I didn't realise this could happen. ......
It turns out that stress and also heat from outside can make my
sodium
level drop dangerously to the point it nearly got so low I could have had a seizure which is not epilepsy related and end up in a coma. I did not know this would happen being so stressed out.

Salt - serum sodium
Whilst my ESR and CRP are within the normal range my serum
sodium
is 130mmol/L. (133 - 146.00mmol/L). It has been like this for the past year or so and everyone has ignored it 'til now. I am not one for pills unless I really need them like prednisolone.
