Need advice on what to do
All other tests were normal, potassium, sugar,
sodium
, etc. I am 30 years old, 140lbs and have mild sleep apnea and pre-hypertension. Prior to the testing, I went on a trip 3 times in 2019. I didnt care what I was eating because I knew everything was ok.

Alternative therapies: what I've learned
Some symptoms I was attributing to either PMR or pred (morning headaches, skippy heartbeat, gradually increasing blood pressure, very cold aching legs at nght) responded to my adding salt to my food, it appears I had a salt deficiency, almost certainly caused by eating a low
sodium
diet for many years

Advice re Chronic Fissure for a 40-year-old Athlete
Here's what I've been doing: - I take 3-4 psyllium capsules with each meal - I take two docusate
sodium
at night - Going keto seems to have helped.

Tomorrow nephrologist appt. first visit
My potassium,
sodium
, and protein levels are normal. Blood pressure is well controlled with meds. Urinalysis was normal. My shrink took me off of lithium, a 10+ year maintenance drug, a few months ago when the labs showed troubled kidneys. What questions should I ask the nephrologist?

Latest for me...psa doubling every 4 weeks....update below
First reading was my best during my current treatment that included Cabazetaxel and Xtandi. Still on the Xtandi due to not many options and MO informed me current new clinical trails at SCCA were on hold. Scans still showing no progression and I am not having any problems other than normal ADT fatigue

Hello HealthUnlocked Members, I have been on ADT continuously since February 2016 and in general I have tolerated Lupron fairly well to date. The hot flashes have diminished in frequency and intensity over time and bone density is normal for my age (65 years). I have found that exercise, keeping cool

Raynauds Disease, Positive ANA, normal complement levels, I'm lost.
Glucose, magnesium,
sodium
, all normal range. ESR perfect. Creatnine... perfect. My complement levels came back normal. C4: 16mg/do and C3: 106mg/do. My issue is, I get pain sporadically all over my body. Fingers and toes the most.

Recent 2020 research report, and one in 2017 showing Xofigo may have a much higher risk of serious side effects on bone marrow than thought!
Unfortunately, some of us here have been suspecting this, due to personal experience: "Twenty-three patients received Xofigo at UF Health, and one was lost to follow-up. Sixteen patients (73%) completed the full course (six doses) of Xofigo, while six did not. Ten patients (45%) developed pancytopenia
