Post transplanted for 15 years.
My daughter was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia a failed kasai. She had a liver transplant in (2004) and she has been well since the transplant. However, since last year 2018 my daughter blood test results have been coming back abnormal. My daughter has had a CT, MRI and a ultrasound scan. The images

Need Some Courage.....
Good day - I have very much appreciated reading everyone's postings over the past couple months - inspiring! May I ask advice? After evaluation for kidney transplant, my local hospital system indicates that I am not a good candidate for transplant due to peripheral arterial disease (PAD). I am so

So scared...
I had a routine colonoscopy 2 weeks ago and 10days after I received a letter to see my surgeon. I knew the result must be bad, but not this bad! My cancer is back, sited in the opening of my colostomy, my surgeon says I need the remainder of my large bowel removing and also my rectum! I am not worried

Itchy Scratchy!!
Just a year post liver transplant and my life is being governed by relentless itching. My docs know about it and have given me antihistamines and colestyramine all to no avail. In fact it’s getting worse. Just wondered if there’s anything else available that could help. This is my first ever post here

Decision time for Multiple Myeloma
I have been fighting PC for 23 years and six months ago I was told I had MM. Had treatments for MM and was told that I had an excellent response was a perfect candidate for Stem Cell Transplant even though I was 78 years old and have comorbidities. After going through what seemed like a thousand tests

CURCUMIN? – IS IT THE NEXT BEST THING...?
Post by MPN-MATE Admin » Wed Sep 25, 2019 10:29 am Hey all my MPN colleagues & friends... Thought that you might all enjoy a quick scan of this article on Curcumin, that seems to suggest that its powers might be just what the Pharmacist decided not to order... because it is possible much less expensive

Gallbladder
Hello all I was just wondering. Can you still be eligible for liver transplant if you’ve had gallbladder removed. I ask because at one time there has been “sludge” in my gallbladder. I’m hoping my gallbladder is ok...
