What is my next step in terms of treatment?
I have been so many courses of Prednisolone I have lost count, and also had
Singulair
, but to no avail. I am now on Xolair, the injection to treat against allergies.

Montelukast/singulair
Hi everyone, I was just wondering.... Is montelukast only prescribed for hayfever symptoms/allergies which then trigger asthma or is it just another stage in asthma medication?? Thanks Smithy x

Just started taking it today. Doctor hopes it may help with my allergies to animal dander. Went to my sister's a couple of weeks ago, her dogs were in due to the cold! My airways started tightening within ten minutes, so I used my ventolin 3 times during the next hour and started feeling shaky. I

Ignorance was bliss afterall...
She has said that I am quite brittle (what this means i really do not know) and now ive been but on
singulair
, which i have never used before, but i was only woken up twice last night as opposed to my usual 3-4 times on a bad night. So thats pretty damned good :).

New to forum but need advice
I am currently on Seretide 500 and
Singulair
. I also have to use the blue inhaler approximately every hour. I have now been referred to a hospital consultant but as my asthma nurse keeps telling me that I am on the max dose, is there anything else that can be done?

RAST test
I'm on fexofenadine and
singulair
, could that have had an influence on the test? In the past I used to have to come off antihistamines a few days before testing so obviously I'm a bit confused. Any ideas? I'm just fed up and want to get to the bottom of all this. Love Lydia xx

reaction between singulair and alcohol
Ok this is very redundant now, but has anyone every taken
singulair
whilst at a friends houseparty and been drinking at the same times and had: Nausea+ Vomiting feeling faint/ VERY tired pins and needles in thier feet, though i could have caused that by sitting on them!

Lung Scarring
He also said that as I didn't get on with
Singulair
theres not a lot more he can offer me except pred as and when needed. Most of the allergy tests I had came back negative and the only allergens I reacted to at all were cats (I have dogs!)

after a pretty rough few weeks with the old lungs, I started to have allergic reactions to everything. I've had a few hairy moments in the last few weeks.

advice re medication
Anyway he gave him Clenil 100 to be taken on top of seretide 50x4 puffs daily/
singulair
at night and suggested that i use it for a week and see how he goes....i was always under the impression that seretide was a step up treatment from clenil and also that inhaled steroids took up to 2 weeks to be effective

Told off for using A&E!
He currently takes symbicort, ventolin,
singulair
, slo-phyllin, tilade and 10mg alternate day pred. At the beginning of last month Jay came down with a chest infection and was prescribed Clarithromycin, it set his asthma off so I also started a couse of Pred (40mg).
