Hoarseness when using inhaler - any advice please
She has been prescribed
Seretide
125 inhaler (evohaler) and uses a large volumatic spacer (2 puffs twice a day) but finds her voice is very hoarse. She gargles/ rinses her mouth with water between each puff but it doesn't seem to improve things.

confused and frustrated!!
I'm currently on
Seretide
, Montelaukst and ventolin. I haven't had many attacks thankfully and know there are a lot of people who are worse off than me but i just feel so frustrated just now. I haven't been feeling great for a long long time now.

Should I do anything?
Strangely I only just upped my
Seretide
from 125 2 puffs BD to 250 2 puffs BD as I was using little blue a lot, so I would have though this would have helped take my PF up?

Feel a bit of a fraud!!
Trip to the docs and he'd increased my
Seretide
again. The problem is I've never required medical attention for an asthma attack, I don't wheeze, my spirometry came back normal and my PF are way above where it should be (550) and only dips slightly when I have symptoms (480).

Was it an asthma attack?
For note - I used ventolin before my run (4 puffs) and I swapped from
Seretide
(250, 2 puffs twice a day) to Fostair (100/6, 2 puffs twice a day) about 2 weeks ago A long post I'm sorry and appologies if this has appeared on the forum before but I couldn't find answers in

Asthma and Altitude
Anyway, that is something that I am still figuring out with my GP, but I am currently on
Seretide
125 twice a day, and have had two short courses of Pred over the last few months, as well as being nebulized on a few occasions. My question though, is this.

Asthma, panic, what?
I'm on
seretide
and ventolin, nothing more. When I get really stressed I can't breathe, for days. It's the whole cough, gasping, lungs full of dust feeling. The last few days have been hellish again - am running out of blue inhalers!

Reaction to seretide?
After a review with the GP, I've been put onto
Seretide
Accuhaler, but since taking it for the first time this morning I've had a tingly prickly feeling in one side of my face, with a little bit of swelling (and a very red ear!).

I also have to take
Seretide
twice a day (2 puffs each time). I was at work today taking some training sessions and my voice kept going really husky and disapearing.

New(ish) to Asthma with erratic peak flow
At present I’m taking
Seretide
250 Evohaler (2 puffs, morning and evening about 12 hours apart) and Salamol Easi-breathe (up to 2 puffs, twice daily in between the
Seretide
). My peak flow was levelling out nicely but is now quite erratic – although usually staying within the Green level.

Amazing Asthma UK Nurses
Turns out my old consultant thought I was on
seretide
when he said it was ok to stop the brown inhaler over a year ago. When he wrote to my GP to tell her as much, she failed to spot that he'd written '
seretide
' in the letter and didn't question the lack of steroid with serevent.

ventolin with counter ?
Am I the only one who wish they would make ventolin with a counter, its certainly possible as they make
seretide
with one, but ventolin would make more sense, as it's not frequently used, and difficult to keep track of.

Chest infection and asthma
The ventolin eases it a little, along with the
seretide
however playing my golf at weekends is becoming more of a chore than enjoyment. Thanks, Dan

Off Work....AGAIN!
Im currently on
Seretide
250, 2 puffs twice a day and ventolin. It's not enough. Predisolone sorts me out, but really don't want to go on them long term - although maybe I'll have to. Has anyone tried anything else that seems to help? A rambling and depressed 28yr old

Laryngitis + inhalers
Although I'm now on
seretide
, my voice still isn't right, altho i was never a brilliant singer, now it's nearly impossible to get some notes, nothing comes out! Could it be the inhalers that are causing the laryngitis or just 1 of those things? Christine
