I should add- my OCD fears tend to center around getting into thought loops about not knowing the answers to philosophical questions; fearing going crazy/developing mental illnesses such as psychosis and
schizophrenia
; and the fear of self harm and becoming suicidal.

I Got Seratonin Syndrome.....
I feel as we are just left to rot as there are so few services available now and we are 'not unwell enough' to access crisis care - that is reserved only for those with psychotic breaks from
schizophrenia
, relapses in bipolar or those suffering illicit drug psychosis.

I am nor sure what to do.....I have had again atleast 100 injection sub-cutaneously and taken Methyl B-12 supplements for a long time--atleast 5 years.....I had other vitamin deficiencies but up until 27 (that is considered too late for onset of

Post going off Zoloft day 6 / reassurance!
I keep getting so scared of psychosis of
schizophrenia
. Are the doctors 100% right that they would be able to tell from talking to me and that I don’t have it? Ugh! I keep waiting for symptoms to arise and I get scared this odd distant and depersonalization feeling I get is from that.

I feel like I’m driving myself crazy, please help
For a while now I’ve been dealing with the anxiety of having
schizophrenia
after learning about it in my psych course, and I’ve been so worried about it that I feel like I’m literally driving myself insane.

Really feel like i am losing my mind, need your advices.
In fact, i saw somewhere that it was a symptom of
schizophrenia
and developing this illness is my worst fear. I feel so disconnected from myself and the world around. I never had positive symptoms (hallucination, clear delusion, etc.) but i feel like it might come soon. Thank you for reading.

Question about depersonalization / derealization
I legit got scared I had
schizophrenia
or something and the docs said I don’t lol. Is this type of memory recall normal? Is it part of depersonalization/derealization?

Zoloft update / health anxiety
I’m still terrified of developing or of having
schizophrenia
or psychosis. I’m just like you guys and even though my docs say I’m fine, I’m still scared. I’m getting better at handling it but it’s still quite scary. I’m also pretty scared the side effects of Zoloft won’t ever go away!!

Zoloft update
I woke up fearing
schizophrenia
again and didn’t want to be left alone... so when my boyfriend left for work, I slept, and my phone was just done. I felt a wave of dark thoughts and depression.. I am never depressed but I felt HOPELESS. And terrified.

Post Zoloft - day 9
I just got scared because I did so much reading on
schizophrenia
, and somebody wrote this happened to them and I cried. I’m fairly certain it’s disassociation and depersonalization, but man.. I need to listen to the docs. Back to work! I have sound design due today.

Brain Stimulation Rapidly Revives Working Memory in Older Adults
Reinhart also noted that problems with working memory and functional connectivity are hallmarks of neurologic disorders such as Parkinson disease,
schizophrenia
, and autism and that noninvasive stimulation could prove helpful for patients with these disorders.

Their discoveries offered new insights into disorders linked to errors in cell communication, such as Parkinson’s disease,

Fear of mental illness: please respond 😭
Today I came across an article that was talking about
schizophrenia
/psychosis. I'm now extremely paranoid I'm going to develop these and lose control of myself and something awful will happen. I can't stop analyzing myself and seeing if I seem like it's happening/going to happen to me.
