Asthma but no wheeze
I wasn't given
salbutamol
nebs as I'd already had well over 10 puffs but was given oxygen, saline nebs, IV hydrocortisone and IV piriton (I think that's what it was).

As I have been trying for a little while now but it's not shifting, I'm on accuhaler Seretide 250 and

Stronger reliever?
Just a quickie, is there such thing as a stronger reliever/more effective reliever than the standard 100mg
salbutamol
? Is it possible that you can become immune to its effects during a severe attack? Ta, Emz x

Seretide - Does the shakiness get better?
I'm also taking
Salbutamol
, 2 puffs every four hours, so that may be contributing to the shakiness, but I was already taking that and didn't have shakiness to a bothersome degree until I added the Seretide.

Bricanyl
He has recently been precribed Bricanyl inhaler and has been taken off
Salbutamol
. But then was told only to use it four times a day. He is confused as he used to use Salbutomal before exercise and now he is not sure what to do with this Bricanyl.

May have asthma and scared
I had difficulty in catching my full breath which was uncomfortable and also a wheeze.I was given a
salbutamol
inhaler and amoxycillin. I returned to the gp last week as I still had the wheeze predominantly on breathing out. I was given a 5 day course of steroids and 500mg clarythromycin.

Hi all new to this site & asthma
I was sent away with a peak flow monitor a
salbutamol
inhaler and a course of prednisole steroids. I had to take time off work just over 2 weeks as i had no energy. My symptons since then have still been the hacking dry cough with phlegm, headaches and just so tired all the time.

A couple of questions relating to asthma medication (seretide and salbutamol)
2) The fact that I am taking so much
salbutamol
(when my body isn't used to it) and it is increasing my heartrate to about 150 beats per minute will this affect the baby?

Imflammation on the ribs coursing asperation oin asthma?
Surely a low peak flow is more of a sign than a clear chet after having so much
salbutamol
? Wouldn't the
salbutamol
have made my chest sound clear at that point?

Advice please, pain in ribs!!
I recovered better in the UK and stopped the salmeterol because it was making me tight and had to use
salbutamol
to relive it. I returned to Germany after the summer, hoping it would be seasonal but immediately went downhill.

I have already taken my
