COPD medications
However they feel that her condition is uncontrolled due to the amount of times she needs her
salbutamol
. So far the respiratory nurse has only offered 1ml of oramorph up to 4 times a day. So far she has only tried it once a day, but doesn't feel much affect of it.

Bronchitis
I phoned the surgery and was given an appointment with a nurse practitioner who confirmed it was bronchitis and not a chest infection and gave a prescription for a
salbutamol
inhaler. Should I be concerned?

Bisoprolol And Asthma
I have recently seen a couple of posts about taking/not taking Bisoprolol if you have asthma, but does that relate to those inhalers containing
Salbutamol
sulfate I have been taking 5mg of Bisoprolol twice a day for the past 12 years. (Paroxysmal Afb) plus the same of Ramipril and Doxazosin.

Which one?
At the initial time they thought I may be asthamatic so for the last 8 months I had been presribed and using the brown preventor beclometasone inhaler and the standard
salbutamol
if needed (which I didnt feel the need to use) Since I was getting constant phlegm I assumed I was getting infection after

2x Emergency Steroids in one month
I'd love a bit of reassurance because this will be my third night of going to bed with 10x
Salbutamol
through a spacer just so I can sleep 😒

5mg ventolin nebules
I am also on fostair 200 but certainly since I was switched over to a generic
salbutamol
5mg nebule which I have to nebulise 4 times a day I feel I am constantly struggling to keep on top of some very nasty asthma attacks. Dr's say it is the same drug but my body tells me a very different story.

Chest infection & return flight on Wednesday. Advice please
Fostair &
Salbutamol
. I have Asthma & mild Bronchiectasis I. was exhausted with no energy. By Saturday I felt a bit better but my chest was getting worse so I went to the local hospital to get checked. They did bloods & gave me IV Painkillers for some reason. I told them no but they insisted.

Salamol
I am not totally convinced that a salamol( on the box called
salbutamol
sulphate) is as good as
salbutamol
(Ventolin)for relieving asthma symptoms. Can’t find an old box for Ventolin to check the ingredients. Has anyone out there changed to salamol & found any problems or not. Maybe it’s just me.

Recovering from Pneumonia
I no longer have to use
salbutamol
every 4 hrs, have my qvar daily though. However, I have been off work 3 weeks and due to go back Monday, 9am. The tiredness/fatigue I’m feeling is unbelievable. I can’t wake up in a morning, even if someone wakes me up I’m just so foggy and out of it.

Asthma during respiratory infections
Or is it expected that I will have to use
salbutamol
during a cold? I would ask the asthma nurse at my annual asthma review but it's done through an online form now that only asks about the last two weeks.

mucus plugs (plastic bronchitis)
They gave me a lot of saline and
salbutamol
nebs. What eventually worked for me was that I coughed up a lot of hard mucus plugs that were in my lungs. Most were branched like bronchial casts. As they came up my peak flow would improve. Eventually I got better and all seemed fine for a while.

Seretide and Addisons disease
I also needed to use more
salbutamol
so felt Asthma not controlled and so went back to original inhaler dose. I am now experiencing other side affects, raised blood pressure and breathlessness which increase after inhaler and hydrocortisone tablet.

Very breathless lying down
I also have the
salbutamol
for an emergency but again I hardly use it - I think I have used it twice. The nurse I see told me I have moderate to severe copd and I am now waiting for the pulmonary rehab course. So that's about it. The sleeping thing is my main concern - is this normal?

Do I still have asthma?
Was also given a "rescue" inhaler,
Salbutamol
, which I never have had a need to use. A few years ago, my pulmonologist changed my medication to Relvar Ellipta 92/22. I have a yearly revision and all tests are very good.

Does peak flow increase in non asthmatics following ventolin?
Can exercise normally with no decrease in peak flow, in fact peak flow increases slightly However after just 2 puffs of a
salbutamol
inhaler they noticed their peak flow increased from 300 to 340. Would this warrant a diagnosis and treatment?

Good sats - so why so breathless?
Five minutes of 5mcg
salbutamol
. No diiscernible difference (and yes, I know I should not use the little bluey but what do you do in a hurry?). Now a clue - I also have arrythmia and mild congestive heart disease (meaning oedema and continues furosemide).
