Hi, I have adult onset asthma. Last 3 yrs have been hell trying to breathe and keep out of hospital. I tried qvar and then symbicort. Both made me extremely dizzy with vertigo that was not tolerable. Allergic reaction/cortisone?
Hello, today when I was eating a kiwi fruit I suddenly noticed a burning feeling in my mouth, my skin began to itch and flush and I had some difficulty breathing. Could I be allergic to kiwi fruit? I've never had such a reaction before and have no known other allergies. Or could it be that the fruit

Hi, I'm new to these kind of things but I'm a little lost after my recent diagnosis with asthma. Since august last year I've been hospitalised 4 times for more than a week each time, been rushed to the hospital via ambulance on a code red twice (one of those times was a very close call), I've visited

Several attacks..
I don’t understand why I keep having attacks, I’ve had 5 in the last three months, been upped on beclometasone then upped again to Fostair 100/6 to see how I am on that for now , testing antihistamines to see if dust mites are triggering it yet my peak flow is 350 or below most days which is my red zone

Different inhaler
So I’m gonna see my gp in about a weeks time about everything that’s been going on (see other posts) , should I be asking for a different inhaler ? I’m taking beclometasone 4 times a day, and it doesn’t seem to work for me; I was having real bad asthma symptoms about two months ago which is when I went

Hi everyone, Today my GP has given me a salbutamol inhaler thinking I may have asthma. My worry is that my tinnitus came on 8 months ago whilst in the midst of taking all kinds of medications for a chest infection and as such I am scared of taking any more medications. I was just wondering if anyone

Do I need to see doc more urgently?
Hi there, new poster here! Have had mild asthma since 2014 w/ salbutamol only, then Clenil on and off since summer 2016 after a bout of viral pneumonia, had a course of prednisolone then. I had a viral URTI in September 17 with a lingering cough which triggered my first proper asthma attack at the end

Help please advice for my horse's asthma
Hi all I hope nobody minds me joining this group on behalf of my horse who seems to have severe asthma. She seems to have allergic asthma with high eosinophils in her lung wash fluid, but I'm sure one of her main triggers is ozone pollution in the air. Throughout Autumn she had severe attacks lasting
