Should You Get the COVID-19 Vaccine If You Have a History of Allergic Reactions to Infused or Injectable Medications?
Two common biologics to be aware of are infliximab (Remicade) and
rituximab
(Rituxan). Infliximab (Remicade) is a commonly prescribed biologic that can cause allergic reactions in some patients.

Living in the USA with CLL and want to know where to sign up for your COVID-19 Vaccination? A State-by-State List
If you are in treatment, or have had treatment with
Rituximab
, Obinutuzumab, Ofatumumab or other anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies within the past 6 months, you are less likely to produce an antibody response to a vaccination, but it is expected that you will still develop some T-cell based immunity response

What to Do After Getting a COVID-19 Vaccine If You’re Immunocompromised or Have an Autoimmune Condition
What to Do After You Receive the COVID-19 Vaccine
There’s been quite a bit of discussion about what to do leading up to getting a COVID-19 vaccine — like what to consider if you’re immunocompromised, how to talk to your doctor about the vaccine and medications like
rituximab
, or what to know if

Covid vaccine effectiveness and rituximab
I just came across this MS-related blog: https://multiple-sclerosis-research.org/2020/06/the-mscovid-19-vacccination-window-of-ocrelizumab-
rituximab
-and-more-evidence-for-the-importance-of-memory-b-cells/ It's quite technical and contains links to related papers.

Our drugs might alter the response to the vaccines but " most people will still mount a substantial response protection against catching the virus" It discusses allergies, nd methotrexate and

Wish the doctors would listen
Treated with
Rituximab
, Methotrexate and Prednisolone routinely and have developed Hypogammaglobulinaemia induced by the
Rituximab
so am susceptible to infections. My argument is that we know our own bodies and we should be listened to and heard.

Ageing pet’s effect on my health
Our son has come home for a visit and is appalled at the smell of our old dog. She is incontinent and wears nappies or lies on sheets I change several times a day. She insists on sleeping in our room at night, or barks all night long. I love her dearly, but I have noticed I cough a lot when I get up

Wegners disease and kidney function
I'm now having a 2nd session
rituximab
and seen less urine flow which means I'm now on more fluid restriction. I'm hoping it's the meds. I have read that some Wenger's disease sufferers can see some or all kidney function restored over 6 plus months of renal failure.

“If a patient needs to start a new DMARD/biologic but has not been vaccinated, it may be appropriate to consider selecting an alternative DMARD / biologic medication to
rituximab
, if available and appropriate, e.g. in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.”

VACCINE ANTIBOBY TEST STUDY
During my monthly office visit in early March, my Dr. asked if would get another blood test off site to determine whether I had developed sufficient antibodies from my recent vaccinations. MSK is trying to collect data as to whether us CLL'ers can can get protection too. In my case YES! Moderna vaccine
