SUDDEN Rise in ESR - Pt. 3
These treatments and their magnificent side effects have been endured: High dose steroids; high dose methotrexate; plaquenil; and
Rituxan
. The rheumatologist reports there has been "zero response to treatments".

Also, I am on 80 mgs of predisone a day and will be starting 8 weeks of
Rituxan
to treat. I would also like to hear from anyone who's done this about the problems they had and how effective it was. The 80 mgs of Predisone worry me seems like a huge slug. Thanks John

SUDDEN increase in Sed rate, or erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR
I have researched and cannot find reports regarding a SUDDEN elevation in an ESR when the inflammatory disease is in aggressive treatment with
Rituxan
infusions, the disease is NOT showing a corresponding increase in blood markers, and the ESR has previously been zero (ESR - 0) for more than a year

IV placement in hands when you have Scleroderma & Raynaud's
Hello, I am undergoing
Rituxan
infusions for ANCA vasculitis, systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) & mixed connective tissue disorder. The IV is in place an average of 6 to 8 hours. Rheumatologist & dermatologist told me NOT to have IV placement in my hands due to high gangrene/ulcer/etc. risk.

Protein in my urine
I was given many IV infusions to help stop the rejection (
Rituxan
and Steroids). The UTI was actually a blessing in disguise because without that, they would not have found the autoimmune disease perhaps in time to stop the attack on my new kidney.

rituxan treatment
My CLL has caused a condition called warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia and they are wanting to start Rituximab to keep my hgb counts from tanking. I am not a big fan of treatments and have refused treatments several times for other cancers. I am just wondering about your alls experience with this

Huge drop in PLT(platelets) while under CLL treatment with RITUXAN
Did anyone experience a huge drop in PLT(platelets) while under CLL treatment with
Rituxan
? Mine has gone from 389 to 76 after the 4th and last treatment. Doctor wants to wait to see if PLT will improve. Thanks, larrcow

CLL and Problems with Teeth and Gums
I was treated with
Rituxan
and Prednisone (I want to note straight up that I am not a CLL expert but very much appreciate those on this site who are). 6 treatments and I went into remission. Just now I am seeing an increase in WBC though not yet doubling.

Symptoms of PMR?
(I treated with chemo and
Rituxan
). Lately, my hip has been acting up. I am in tremendous pain and can barely walk at times. I’m trying to recall the symptoms of the PMR, but nothing specific comes to mind, other than the fact that I felt better being on the prednisone.

Finishing 2 years of Rituxan and Venetoclax
He was treated with the following: - FCR (4 year remission) - Imbruvica (worked for 5 years but caused A-fib) - And since 2020, 6 cycles of
Rituxan
and 2 years of Venetoclax CBCs are okay except for Platelets just below normal (around 120-130 K).

Antibiotics with Venetoclax
I’m on Venetoclax and
Rituxan
for NHL. I need to go to the dentist. I think it’s a cavity but my luck, a root canal. What is a good antibiotic to take that does not interact with Venetoclax? I’m not getting any answers from my oncologist.

FDA Approves Zanubrutinib for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia or Small Lymphocytic Lymphom
Findings from SEQUOIA showed that at a median follow-up of 25.0 months, the median progression-free survival (PFS) was not reached (95% CI, not estimable [NE]–NE) with zanubrutinib vs 33.7 months (95% CI, 28.1-NE) with bendamustine and rituximab (
Rituxan
; BR) in patients with treatment-naïve CLL/SLL

Effects of Calquence on sperm
My husband 69 years old is on Calquence for CLL, he's had Chemo at least three times over about 15 years, Bad reactions to
Rituxan
, weird skin issues, looked like tick bullseye rings that started on the upper torso traveled down his body, down his arms and legs and then disappeared, he was in remission
