Anyone else had problems with Salamol CFC-Free MDI Inhaler 100mcg
I was given this in place of ventolin. From the start, it seemed like a ventolin inhalor when it's blocked (slow and sluggish to spray) two weeks in and hardly used it just stopped working at all. My doctors surgery have said ventolin is no longer available on the nhs and have now prescribed me airomir

Non Allergic Rhinitis when taking Bisoprolol
I would really like to hear from other members if they have suffered with the above whilst taking Bisoprolol. I’ve now been taking 1.25mg daily coming up to one year on the 1st March. Over the last week or so I’ve been experiencing extremely sensitive eyes, stuffy/runny nose starting from mid morning

Asthma cough
Been a bit snotty so I assumed it was
rhinitis
again - I have sterimar and neilmed sinus rinses. Ears feel " full" as well. A deep breath is enough to bring on a cough - even using my inhaler brings on a cough. I never had an asthma cough - just a wheeze.

Managing occasional breathlessness
I got rather breathless on my walk today as it was unexpectedly cold. It happens. Recently I was changed from Ventolin to Salamol. I am fine with that in principle, but I have had mixed results when using it. With Ventolin I know it starts to kick in after 10-15 minutes, but the first time I used Salamol

I have had allergic
rhinitis
since childhood, and used to have eczema. Now, I am getting extremely bad hot flushes and seem to overheat upon the littlest exertion. I get excessively sweaty during these episodes but only around my face and head, with red flushing too.

Down pillows, thatch rooves and asthma
I have exercised induced
rhinitis
- which is triggered by exercise if its quite rigorous. Very seldom is it triggered when i hike or walk. Occasionally it is triggered by other factors, but very randomly.

Upper airway obstruction on spirometry?
So I have had a history of
rhinitis
/polyps for the past 14 years, it is treated with daily nasal steroids/(drops if bad) and an antihistamine- though all allergy tests have been negative.

PD link allergic rhinitis like “hay-fever” and histamine
Allergic forms of
rhinitis
also appear to be PD-sensitive or possibly even the causative agent of PD for many. On mg search I came across a 2006 study by Dr. James Bower (Mayo Clinic) that at the time already demonstrated the relationship between allergic
rhinitis
(histamine) and PD.

Out of gas
After my last injection I developed a cough - I put it down to
rhinitis
however a small part of me wondered if it was the dupilimab - I had the jab late afternoon and by the early hours I was coughing - a lot ( I was on nights). I don't generally cough with my asthma but I wheeze a lot.

Hrt and asthma - any problems?
The mucus is worsened by my
rhinitis
. The doctor wants me to start using oestrogen gel as my peri menopause symptoms have become nasty. Does anyone have any experience of the estradiol transdermal gel and asthma? I'm worried that it will worsen my asthma. Thanks

OTC Antihistamines
Have any of you had to take antihistamines? I’ve had head, nasal and chest congestion for a week. No temperature that I’m aware of. My pharmacist suggested Claritin or Allegra. I’m being very cautious and was just wondering?

PET/CT Scan Normal, Bloods Normal, but Responds to Steroids!
It said the scan was all clear, so the rheumatologist concluded I do not have an inflammatory disease (apart from eczema, asthma, hay-fever, perennial
rhinitis
and allergies to house dust, mould, feathers, fur and penicillin). My GP now says I have an “unknown disease”.

Energy and motivation hasn't really returned after Pred
I also now suffer
rhinitis
like I'm drowning! Also had constant wet eyes since the Pred reductions lately. Question - is my lack of energy down to the effect of low Pred medication combined with a still low functioning adrenal system?

Allergies + Tinnitus + Dizziness
Something that is really affecting both my tinnitus and dizziness is my allergy - I have had bad allergic
rhinitis
for over 20 years. It’s really bad right now and when my sinuses are blocked, which is most of the time atm, everything is exacerbated.

Thybon Henning doesn’t contain acacia?!
Sharing for info but also a question around changes to formulation. I’ve recently had my T3 increased which meant moving to Thybon Henning 20s. Since I’m allergic to acacia, I set about trying to find out if it contained it. I spoke to 2 pharmacies (SmartWay and Roseseway Labs) as well as doing my

bronchiectasis and mucous!
I have been on steroid nasal sprays for years due to allergic
rhinitis
but since the diagnosis of bronch in May 2021( after 40 yrs of asthma) my post nasal clogging and sinus headaches are 10 x worse. Find myself waking at 3am choking on thick mucous in my throat.

Thrombocytosis…..ET? UPDATE
An Ear Nose & Throat Specialist confirmed allergic
rhinitis
which I need to take an antihistamine tablet per day and steroid nasal spray. Other tests I’ve had done are an Endoscopy and a Colonoscopy, both of which have come back clear.
