iron suggestions please
Would be grateful for recommendations for iron supplement for my daughter. She is vegan and her ferritin is on the low side. In fact her vitamins are all rubbish but I’ve got everything else covered. Something gentle would be preferred. thanks in anticipation 🥰🥰

Suggestions on how to prevent infection/sepsis while on prednisone?
Hi everyone Does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent infections or sickness while on prednisone? I've only been on a month and feel like i'm getting a cold. My temporal artery biopsy wound doesn't seem to be healing and I'm starting to just feel unwell. Are there any vitamins or things

Hypo after all?
Hello everyone, this is my first post, though I’ve been gleaning pearls of wisdom from this site for a couple of years, so thank you all! I’m a 60-year-old male. I’ve had chronic fatigue since 1988; tight forehead pain and a horrible “saturated brain” feeling since the late 1990s (brought on by reading

Just had a blood test…
the nurse took just one blood sample/vial. I was booked to have thyroid, vitamins and sex hormones tested…does anyone know if all those tests are usually done from the same sample?

I am in the throws of reading Chris van Tulleken's book Ultra-Processed People. It has been an eye opener. Not that one hasn't been aware of the harms of processed food but perhaps one has been unaware at how extensive it is and also how seemingly malicious for corporate gain? What does come out is

Advice on ‘normal’ test results
Hi I’ve recently joined and wanted some guidance on blood tests that my doctors are saying need no action. I went struggling with neck pain and neurological symptoms and they ordered full bloods. In the last two years I’ve gained a huge amount of weight, my face is puffy, and I’ve struggled with running
