I was initally on predesilone tapered and subsequently Infliximab/
Remicade
. I am due my 4th infusion on 14th but not sure whteher to delay this as I am experiencing joint pain/weakness and hair loss. I am not sure if it is the actual crohns disease or infliximab causing this.

The Flu Vaccine, Inflammatory Arthritis, and COVID-19: What You Need to Know
Although researchers have also found that people taking methotrexate or TNF inhibitor biologics — like etanercept (Enbrel), adalimumab (Humira), and infliximab (
Remicade
) — do have an acceptable response to the flu vaccine, the response isn’t as strong as it is in healthy individuals who are not taking

How long before seeing results from Entyvio?
She is a primary non-responder to
Remicade
. We have been in the hospital for 17 days today and she has had 2 Entyvio infusions, last one was 3 days ago. She will be getting a second blood transfusion today due to blood loss with bowel movements. Her disease is pretty bad.

Remicade versus Inflectra
I've found out today, after 16 years on
Remicade
, they changed it last week to Inflectra without telling me. Has anyone else been switched like this? If so, did you notice any difference? Thanks Ruth

Memory Loss and Remicade
I’m wondering if anyone taking
Remicade
also has memory issues. I used to take Methotrexate and it really affected my short term memory badly and made most of my hair fall out. Once I stopped the drug, my memory return to normal. I’m now on
Remicade
and doing fairly well.

Give time for Remicade
Taking a day off of work, because of a
Remicade
infusion is annoying. I feel like people think I’m lying when I say I’m at the hospital, because they think “wouldn’t that just take an hour? Why do you need to be gone for the whole work day?” ... They have no clue how long a
Remicade
infusion takes.

What is the next course of treatment if NONE of the RA medications work?
Anyone know what happens if after many many attempts of different RA medications such as Methotrexate, Humira, Enbrel, Xelzanze, infusions such as Acterma and
Remicade
do NOT work on me to combat endless inflammation & endless flares? I cannot stay on high does of Prednisone forever.

Neither Oral nor IV prednisone worked for him, so has been given
Remicade
a week ago, still in hospital. His bleeding stopped around 85% but urge to bowel and pain is still same.

Can Stage 3 CKD due to medication improve to stagev2 CKD w/ stopping med?
I've gotten
Remicade
infusions since 2009 & monthly B12 shots . I regularly see drs (GP, rheumatologist, hematoligist, & now renal specialist). I am to have labs at renal specialis1 in 1 mo & then 6 mos. to see if kidney function improves w/ no longer taking diuretic & potassium.
