Whatever little information I have read seem to indicate that
radiotherapy
is more likely to cause anal/rectal issues. Hence I am feeling very confused. Of course I like the idea of not having surgery( and resultant scars.. I am Asian and tend to scar badly).

Mini maze update.
And lastly due to my bc treatment mastectomy,
radiotherapy
& reconstruction I have had leftside pain from the ribs/muscles being disturbed - probably from all the scar tissue etc from my previous bc treatment.

I am very shortly due for 38 sessions of
radiotherapy
on my prostate and I'm very seriously considering having this barrier fitted privately if it's not available as a treatment from the NHS, why wouldn't you?

. This info is on my patient notes as my apt with the ENT Dept is in June.

BCR May Not Be a Strong Surrogate End Point for Prostate Cancer Survival

Clear Cell reoccurrence update number 4
I’m not a candidate for
radiotherapy
either but I may be a candidate for surgery. I’ve been referred for a laparoscopy to find out if my cancer can be safely reached and removed, if not I’ll be for more chemotherapy. I’ll keep you all posted, love n stuff Carol x

I start a course of
radiotherapy
on Monday (31st July). I have a very dry sore mouth and eyes and painful joints. Did anyone else have any other of these side effects? My other question is what should I expect from the
radiotherapy
? Did anyone have any side effects. I’m 59 and in the UK.

Hip pain - related to radiotherapy?
I'm wondering if it might be somehow related to the
radiotherapy
(apart from the lateral mis-alignment) and wonder if anyone else has had similar experience(s)?

Battling!
My story - 3 years ago was diagnosed with breast cancer right in the middle of the pandemic. 8 rounds of chemo (got Covid in round 4), surgery and lastly
radiotherapy
taking me to May 2021. Got the all clear and started building my life and health back up.

BIOMARKER TESTING
My wife has extensive small cell lung cancer (SCLC-E) and has undergone chemotherapy, immunotherapy and
radiotherapy
. Her lung tumor is currently stable and I want to get options if her current immunotherapy (atezolizumab every three weeks) becomes ineffective.

Benefits
They believe my condition has been caused by chemo and
radiotherapy
I had in the past. I am a teacher and have not returned to work. If I am considered not fit to teach by my consultant, am I entitled to any benefits?

radiotherapy for a grade 2 following surgery
Yesterday I had an appointment with oncologist to discuss the option of having
radiotherapy
to reduce the risk of reoccurrence. I am really struggling to decide if I should go ahead and have this or go for watch and wait option.
